which company makes the best fitting carbon hood for the c63 amg ? i know someone in this forum has one . is the ebay hood the best one ?

This is actually my car. The fit was perfect and the look is fantastic. We literally put it on the car in 15 minutes. No adjustments.

I am interested as well. Any problems at high speeds? Does it lift or move? Do you think it is really weighs 20 kilos less then OEM hood?

There is one in Germany called Team CCD. They can make special version just for you and right now he is making one with vents. He is making special racing car with C63 right now. They only make special parts for racing car for FIA. I never bought his parts so I cant tell if its good or not but since he makes for FIA parts it should be good. He has carbon doors, trunk, hood, also for C63

This is an excellent way to save weight, but for me at least, I would paint it body color, I don't need a "look at me, I have a CF hood". The main point is to save weight. We are talking to that mfg., and may be carrying their hoods. We are also going to ask them what it would take to modify the hood for use with some functional venting that carries the OEM AMG tradition. We'll see what they say..
