C63 P30 Suspension Recommendations

I got a C63 with P30 a couple of months ago. I love it! What an amazing car. My ONLY complaint is the suspension...it handles great, but it is really stiff for a daily driver. What's the best option to make this smoother without losing the handling...if possible?

Lower your tire pressure slightly. That should help. You will come to appreciate the ride and get used to it. (Course Appreciation 101) 3 units.

Now that we are off the stock Pirellis and on Kumhos Ecsta ASX now, the ride quality improved significantly.

We are running 40 psi all four corners at this time for daily driving on the P30 suspension. A great ride. Wouldn't have it any other way.

We got 5500 miles out of the stock rear tires, but they went smooth as silk after only one day at the track last month.

I will try bringing the pressure to 40 psi...

I love the ride actually...but, I've had some passengers complain. I am wondering if coilovers (adjustable) are the way to go?

I just put Toyo 235 winter tires on before coming back to DC from CT (5.5-ish hours), and I have to say that the bumpy / jarring ride on my way to CT disappeared almost completely - take home point being that tires can have a big effect, be it through the actual rubber or pressure, etc.

I went from P30 to KW V-3s and the ride is noticeably better with even better handling.

Yes same for me, KW V3 is the way to go, it's actually the same suspension as the stock CLK 63 Black series (a 140K car!)

Thanks. What's the difference between product number 35225029 and 35225033? How much does a typical installation cost?

You need the 35225033 for the C63. The difference is that one is for the regular c class. Why is it still under the C63 on the KW website beats me. This is confirmed by the manufacturer and the box I got says AMG c63 on the side so it is the right one.

The big difference between the two is the drop size, since our car is actually lower stock than a regular C class. I haven't gotten installed yet (waiting for car in 2 months lol), I figure this is a 3-4 hour job.

For the CLK black I don't know if the exact same one, everything points to yes unless they fitted the race only version (which I doubt).
