Kicherer carbon fibre side skirts
Here are some pics of my newly arrived carbon fibre sideskirts. I didnt realise the install would be quite asinvolved as its going to be but i think it will be worth it.
I guess they wont be to everyone's tastes but i really like them. Will put some pics up of them painted and installed next week. The last picture is of the skirts installed on someone else's car as an example.

I dealt with the head guy at Kicherer (Florian) and got him down to EUR1400 and free shipping - I have noticed a lot of manufacturers are willing to deal these days, i think given the economic climate that they are doing it pretty tough - especailly the European ones.
The parts obviously need prep for painting and the masking of the carbon fibre is an intricate job. Aside from that it has be put up on the hoist and all wheels taken off so original skirts can be removed then have to hope that original clips and seals can be re-used. If not some MB replacements will be needed but that will only take a day to source. Will drop the car on Monday so they can do exact paint match and then pick up n Wednesday afternoon.

The good news for anyone interested in pursuing htis mod is that the skirts that Kicherer use are genuine original MB parts modfied by Kicherer so i have been adivsed by installer that the fitment is perfect and thus all ariginal clips and seals etc can be reused with the Kicherer skirt.
