Thanks Simon, I will call you next week when I get back into town to order these and maybe the pulley as well, can you make me a good deal if I get the full rotor package and pulley at same time?????

Outstanding!!

Installed the new rotors on Monday (all corners). New pads (OEM) all around as well. Did 1st Bedding runs right away. Did another round of Bedding runs yesterday morning. All set....

These Rotors are outstanding. Combined with the Stainless Steel lines I installed the feel is 100% better and stopping power has increased dramatically
Much more predictable that OEM. Very solid feel on the pedal (missing on OEM) and the action/reaction is amazing.

When I first took delivery of this car I remarked on how well it stopped. This upgrade REALLY kicks it up a notch...

Well done guys. Can't wait to get to the track next week to see the effect in the twisties.

You can't do it youself. You need to PM a moderator or send an email to webmaster@mbworld.org with what you want it changed to.

I see you have P30. Have you noticed any difference in ride quality? And congrats to you and SL, this is a must-do.

Love that shot. They look cleaner on the car than in the box

Are the 390mm front rotors a new option vs. 360mm or just a typo? Also how many miles typically till people replace rotors for your average rider maybe 1 track day per year?

Simon, Please do keep us posted on the new 390mm rotor.
Another question, if I want to do 360mm rotor for rear, do I need a new caliper?

Once I get the fronts installed I'll write a full review with more pics, etc. Make no mistake, you can definitely feel the difference from the reduction in unsprung weight.

Thanks Wayne, I really look forward to it. When are you going to get the fronts installed?

Now I can help answer my own question. I saved 5+lbs wheel/tire weight with my new 19" forged wheels. With the new wheels, on these often poor-condition L.A. roads there is a substantial reduction in the harshness of impacts on say, the broken road surfaces that are commonly found here. The P30 suspension which I found borderline harsh with the OE wheels is now almost perfect. I can only imagine what the additional benefit of these new rotors will be...!

Great feedback regarding unsprung weight savings.

I can't wait to get my fronts evosport rotors on. They are 13-lbs lighter per side when compared to the OEM 1-piece rotors. Should be a huge difference in feel.

If i just got the rotors and used my existing OEM pads because I believe that they still have some padding left, would I need to bed the rotors or is that only for when you get new rotors and pads? I can't remember as I've usually done both at the same time. Are stainless steel brakelines needed if i don't intend on tracking the car at all?

You still need to bed in the pads/rotors although it happens much quicker. It's recommended you replace the pads depending on what you mean by "some padding left". SS lines are for street as much as for track. Provide better pedal feel due to less flex from the lines.

The options are Slotted/Drilled or Slotted. There is great value to having slots with regards to cleaning the pad as it sweeps over the slots.

What are the issues with using EBC Reds? Is there another low-dust pad option available that is compatible with these rotors? I'm really tired of having to clean my wheels so often. BTW-car is not tracked.
