Its the plug in device that holds the Brabus tune so you can reflash your car anytime some bozo at the dealership screws with it. It is coded to the VIN of your car so is not transferable

I assumed (based on their website) it was just the speed delimiter.

The kit includes, the pipes, cats, filters (all of them) and the mod of the ecu. The mod of the Ecu is without opening the factory one, just pug inn the little computer shows on the pic.
The car has 530 hp and 650 nm of torque. The difference is huge !!!. Brabus says that tha car reach the 100 km in 4.1 and the limit of speed is 312 km.
When I ordered my car I was planing to make this upgrade so I bought it with the P30 and the Drivers kit.
I have to install the engine cover (red) with the stickers of aluminium that says "B63S". Also, on the trunk I changed the "C63" and the "AMG" logo for the "BRABUS" and "B63S".
Sorry for my english.

You always can return to tyhe original configuration in a Mercedes Dealer. But when you change the configuration by a Brabus one, the computer that you Used only fitts on your car.
Brabus gave the customer a warranty for 2 years unlimited mileage.

I can´t because I did it on teh Mercedes Dealer that is also, Brabus dealer. Anyway the computer (Brabus) once you connect it to the factory ecu, the same comp indicate you all the steps. Once you finish, that comp says "be sure your tires can ride over 300 km"; that is the best part.

The cost of the kit in the United States is $18,000 (not including the cost of installation). Here in the U.S., the Brabus products are distributed by CEC Wheels Inc... out of California.

LOL.... that was my first question when they told me the pricing 
However, that was 2 years ago. Prices may have dropped a little since then due to all the competition. Somebody should give them a call and try to get an updated price....

I agree!! It really is sad the way they jack up the prices of such simple items. And you can keep that trash about its all research and devolpment. Many different aftermarket products go through the same quest and cost don't nearly as much. If it was me I would rather sell many an recoupe the cost and get a reliable name, instead of selling just a few items to make a profit. just my two cents

There is no doubt it is one of the more expensive tunes out there on a $/hp basis. But if you are a brand ***** like me then it certianly turns heads. It amazes me how many times some jokers in a WRX or something pull up next to me at the lights and whisper to each other in hushed tones, "fark its a Brabus!"
You also get the same hp out of brabus tun+cats that you get out of most competitors tune+headers+cats or cat delete. Brabus are investigating adding headers to this kit on my car which should give it another leg up in power if it can be made compatible with the ECU tune
