Most, if not all, of the German auto manufacturers have gone to LED DRL's. Audi has them, Porsche, the w212 E class already has them, etc. It may have been a gov't requirement, IDK.

Great find! Watch out for words like "could," though. And if history is any indicator, even if MB/AMG makes a pretty cool AMG C Coupe, that doesn't guarantee that they'll bring it stateside.

Fair point.

However, with the relative success of C63 in the US I think they would be nuts not to bring it state side.

Anyone has confirmed sell-out numbers from US compared to i.e. Germany?

Could is a big word.

There is no E class AMG coupe. There may not be a C class AMG coupe either.

.
That will be a smart move to bring an AMG variant to steal some M3 coupe sales here in NA.

Im not talking about the DRL like the E class....look at the headlight itself. It seems there's a bunch of bulbs on the bottom of the headlight.

2009 C63 with Eurocharged tune and charcoal delete
I'm quite happy with the C63 as a sedan. I dont see any advantage to the coupe version in the C-Class or most of its direct competition (M3, S4, CTS, etc.) They usually build the coupe with the same wheelbase, weight, etc., so all you get is longer front doors and less room in the back. It's very debatable if any of the coupes actually look better than their sedan counterparts (witness the M3 and the new E-Coupe, neither of which looks quite right to me) and they lose a little in terms of practicality. The only one that got it right is the Audi RS5 coupe, and it's gonna be hellishly expensive if they ever bring it to the US.

Maybe those are the driving lights and the ones on the bottom are the LED fog lights

Notice the differences between the two posted images...beginning with the LEDs, side skirts, grill, rear view mirrors, and front lip. Hmmm....

Only time will tell, to date I've seen nothing formal of which indicates one way or another. The rumor mill seems to support 5.5TT.

Who knows what MY11 will hold !!!!!

no more AMG
The coupe is nice, but even if they offered it at the time I bought mine I would still have gone with the 4 doors.
