Check engine light blinking
Hi guys
I'm kind of new to the forum (3 or 4 month now) but I need to say that some of you guys really know your stuff... That being said I had a problem yesterday night (85º F here in Miami).
After parking the car on Saturday morning inside the garage. I went to start it on Tuesday night and the check engine light started blinking. It blinked for like 10 to 15 seconds and then it went solid; so I turn off the car and started it again and it started perfect, no hesitation or light blinking. Let me add that on Saturday I drove the car on S mode and left it there and when I started it on Tuesday it was on S mode still. My mods are K2, short tube headers with no cats or resonator, and ROW air intakes with K&N filters and no charcoals...
Any advise... I am kind of confused I don’t know if I should pay attention to it since the car is now driving perfect and the problem haven’t come back since...
Thank you in advance...

His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
Get the codes pulled, then we can go from there.
If it's a generic OBD II code, any OBD II reader should be able to see it. Generic OBD II codes are universal, and they mainly deal with emissions, misfires and the like.
If a Generic scanner can't read the codes, you'll need a scanner that can read MB specific codes. I don't know if Vato.. errr. Auto Zone has that capability.

I just got the codes pulled (no codes in memory)
A friend of mine said that it could be that I lost pressure in the gas lines due to the crazy wheather here (rain and humidity) since the car was stop for 3 full days...

It doesnt matter if the car has been in stopped for 3 days. I've had my car in the garage for more than a week and nothing has happened ( and i live in Miami). BTW what area of Miami are you located? I would love to hear your car w/out cats!

You should be fine if no codes were stored.
Is your car a daily driver? I was at the top gun run with soldier2304 and dadsc63's car who has no cats either and only straight pipes was unbelievably loud. It sounded great but it would wake up a whole city block in the morning.
there are many members who do not recommend taking out the resonators. I want a meaner, louder sound but obviously do not want drone or be obnoxious (i.e. too loud during idling or under 3K rpm). Any advice would be welcome?
