I've had Vredestein ultrac sessanta, contisport contact 5p, michelin ps2's, and michelin pilot super sport.
I would not get conti's again because you cant go wider on 18's since they dont make many sizes and at that price there are other tires that I consider better.
Out of the tires I've driven Id go with either:
Michelin Pilot supersports if take it to a track (road course) and are willing to pay for performance. Or if you just want a great tire.
Vreds if you dont road race and are looking for an inexpensive tire that will give you good performance and ok treadlife at a very low price point.

Haven't really driven on the Conti p5 but have driven alot on the Conti Sport Contact 3.
The Conti 3's are a soft tire but have great grip, steering response isn't as sharp as Michelin PS2's for example but still a great tire.

I have about 2K on a set of 19" (245/265) Conti 5P. Most conditions are DD and the tires are ok for this purpose. I think there are better options out there for the $ as they are not cheap. If you are tracking...forget it! These are by far the worst tire I have ever used on the track. The shoulder is very soft and wears very quickly and looses as sense of stability very quickly. Even at running temps the OEM P-zeros are miles ahead in terms of grip and feel. Do not use these for tracking at all.
So DD use: 6/10, track use: 1/10

Dave thanks for the Conti 5P review. I just replaced my rears with some more 5P but I was wondering if I should look for other options when I need to replace all four. Looks like I better.
