Moving to Denver

Hey all,

I tend to read the forum a lot but I am not much of a sharer. I am moving my family to Denver right now and had to drive from Southern Cali.

I thought you guys might enjoy a little tunnel music and a pic.

I hope your family loves Denver as much as we did I lived there for 15+ yrs. Sorry no 93; 91 only, not sure about the 100 but at $5-$6 a gallon not a wise option, race day only. What part of Denver will you be living in?

We don't have 93octane here in Denver. The only place I saw 100 octane was at bandimere speedway.

Your octane requirements is going to be much lower in Denver due to the elevation. Probably a good 3 points lower than recommended. You're also going to lose close to 100hp for the same reason, and will itch for a turbo car fairly quickly which minimizes the losses at elevation.

Thanks

Thanks for the info everyone. We are moving into a place in Broomfield. Seems like a nice area and not far from my office.

The power loss is expected. Sadly, I wasnt expecting to move up here when I committed to the car. Any ideas if getting the kleeman tune has value this high up?

Took a hike through the national park today and had a blast.

I haven't seen any 93 or 100 (except for Bandimere as well - Wednesday evenings I usually bring my 63 to the track), and if you want to meet some of the local AMGs then stop by the 24 hour Starbucks on Colorado in Glendale on Saturday night around 10. Welcome to Denver!

No 93 on tap but there are a few places you can get 100+

http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48045

Duggan's Petroleum is where I went to get 110 for my DSM way back when. It wasn't cheap but man it smelled good burning

There are actually a couple C63 I personally know running Kleemann goodies. One is K1 and the other K2. Both cars pull HARD up here. Great proven product. Very worthwhile investment I'd say, they seem to be very happy with the product.

Welcome to Colorado man! Hopefully we will see you around
