What is the difference between the Brembos you bought over the AMG big brake kit? Brand only or more pistons?

Sick brakes. Are you planing on making your C63 a dedicated track car?
At around $17,000, it better be worth it.

brembos
It's for the coupe I'm building. They are billit. light weight. vented piston area, made for the track and street. I guess you can check on the brembo website for exact specs

Yup,
Brembo GT-R front kit = $8,794
Brembo GT-R rear kit = $7,894
Total = $16,688 (not including tax)
The only way i would ever consider buying these brakes would be if i had a TRUE dedicated track car. Other then that, i see no point.

Wow... considering some of us got the C63 for high 40's low 50's with the trunk money... theses brakes are worth 1 third of the car... unbelievable!! ... hehehe!

The stock brakes on the C63 are sufficient enough. I spent 8k on my Rotora BBK, and i regret it till this day.

However spending 16k for brakes on a C63 is just insane. Shouldn't you be able to get some ceremic brakes for around that kinda of money or maybe a bit more.

i think the GTR is more to the race use.
it will be not too comfortable to use on road, specially when it is cold.
but great kits thought, and probably the best brake kits money can buy now.

Well, it would of made a good down payment on a real gt-r. Live and let live, if it makes you happy go for it, life is too short to live in someone else's footstep. My wife is still confused the fact that my sl with 493 hp just isnt enough

Going from Porsche CCM kit to the new Brembo GT Racing, you are practically not adding any extra weight but the overall braking balance and feel is miles better. There is also absolutely no fade with the GT or a GT Racing kits even when used for pro racing.
