MB, do you know what Mac's car has run and where?

 

I ran a 12.04 at 117.xx on street tires last year at the Famoso event. I wasn't expecting the title but it was given to me basically by default (Josh/C63 Guy's car wasn't getting enough traction and there weren't many other WC times posted at the time). I'm about to get some slicks, long tubes and a custom tune by Hyevon in time for the event this year so we'll see how it turns out.

Looks like the PNW cars were missed. There are actually three West Coasters in Washington State that have run 119+ MPH; myself, avengerboater and nrgy.

Sorry for the late reply super.... didn't see your post. As Mac mentioned earlier, his times were from last year and that title was from last year as well. So I need to update it now that you guys took it away from him when you ran last month

There were actually 3 C63s that day. One with PC tune only, the other was Josh's car, which had Evosport headers + tune + intake (I think), and the third was Mac's C63 with Kleemann headers + tune (not sure Kleemann or PC). Since then, we've had a couple of more C63 run at Famoso as well with similar results. I would like to get an MHP C63 to run with us to compare times between tuners. Any chance you could join us

Do you know if Famoso or any other SoCal racetracks offer private rentals on Sundays?

I would like to organize an event on a Sunday if possible.

I really wish I could attend your upcoming track rental. I'm sure you guys will have the best time.

I know Famoso will do it as long as it is planned in advance (preferably a month or so in advance). I'm not sure about Fontana or Pomona though. My guess is that they would do it too if planned in advance. In most of these tracks, the employees usually work on Saturdays and take Sundays off. So as long as you give them enough notice, the track management can try to re-schedule their employees to come in on Sundays and take Saturdays off.

By the way, even though our upcoming Famoso event is on Saturday, our backup date incase of rain is on Sunday. So you may want to watch the main thread closely for updates, as it may get moved to Sunday.
