C63 Easy entrance options not working?

Hi all, I have tried to enable the easy entrance option from my steering wheel, but the seat does not move back when I shut off the car. Am I doing something wrong? How does the seat know how much it needs to move?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was told by the dealership that the seats do not slide back when the steering wheel tilts up. It only tilts up. Guess you will have to manually slide the seat back everytime if the wheel is in your way.

My understanding is that this feature is disabled in US version cars

I don't think my steering wheel tilts either?

hmm not sure about this. I clearly saw this option and then changed it to "enabled". If this feature is indeed disabled for US cars, shouldn't the convenient entrance option be permanently disabled?

2010 Model: Entry/exit seat will NOT go back. You can use one of the memory buttons to do this and BOTH seat and wheel will go up.

YES US models do go up, just not seat in the convenience mode.

Just the wheel goes up, sigh. My W203 would do wheel, side mirrors, and seat. Damn you W204, DAMN YOU, I still love it though.

Program what you want to happen on exit into a memory button and what you want it to return to into another. A pain I know but the best you can do on the C63.

I was wondering about this too so I just set memory 3 setting with the seat all the way back. Why would they disable this in the US versions? My Infiniti has this feature.

Good question! It is not available in Canada either. Not sure about other locals around the globe.

If you steering wheel is already set to highest position it will not move any more when you leave the car. Try setting it a little lower and see if it works.

Probably the same reason that you have to hold the memory button down instead of just pressing it once to have everything go to where you like. My guess is that some brain-dead douche got his fat *** crushed between the seat and steering wheel and sued M-B. Just like everything else, one dumbass ruins it for everyone.

I just used button three when I get out, that the seat retracts allowing an easy entry and exit. That's all one can do in this aspect.
