Started off a good day

I have the entire weekend off. So I decided to do a full detail on the c after a long winter. So I just finished claying, then did a quick wash to get ready for polishing tomorrow. Went to put the wiper down it slipped out of my hand flung around smash The crack is about 5 inchs long. So lesson learned be extra careful when putting down wipers. Btw its a terrible design how the wiper can flip around. Just had to vent. Usually can't wait to detail my cars but finishing it just won't be the same

Ouch, I made the same mistake with my CLK500 a few years back.

A wiper can crack your windshield? That's something new for me
I always let them hit the windshield so the water comes off

Sorry to hear about the crack.

I see that you have both a C63 and an M3. I love the C63 I just got a few weeks ago, and now we need another car for the wife. She likes the C63 too, but it would be nice to have some variety, so we're looking at an M3 convertible.

How would you compare the C63 and M3? I've read lots of reviews, and had a short test drive with the M3, but it would be nice to hear from someone who's spent a lot of time with both cars and has no reason to be biased.

Thanks.

I do as well, but I think the problem is that the blade itself easily rotates around the arm, leaving the metal blade mount to hit the windshield, causing damage.

What brand of clay and waxing are you using? I recently got my car detailed with a Boehm Carnauba and am pretty much blown away with the fit, finish and quality! The smoothness of the paint and how it shines is just amazing.

Man, don't let it get you down. You still have a sweet M156 and a beautiful C and that can be repaired and it can be as good as new. Things happen no matter how careful we are. I had a huge rock chip in my C 1 month after buying...

Jesus. The day I bought my car a rock about the size of a golf ball hit my windshield and didnt even leave a mark?

anyway, I got my first scratch on the front end. I let a guy at the dealership drive the car after I got the mods done and he pulled up to far in a parking spot and did a number on the lower part of the front spoiler.

Sorry bout your windshield. How much does a windshield cost for our cars anyway?

If you love the c63 you will like the m3 too. I give my m3 the slight edge because I love driving manual. Otherwise their both awesome in their own way. I would defiantly go for the M if you already have a C.

I'm using chemical guys med clay. Going to seal it with two coat of power lock then two coats of supernatural.

Anyone know where I can find a good exorcist. Just dropped my iPhone and shattered the screen

Damn, don't go near any mirrors. Things happen in 3 remember!

Good time to get an iPhone 4

Had a look on www.genuinemercedesparts.com and they show the screen at $371 for a c class. Not sure if the C63 is different.
