2012 delivery dates - Australia

If however you simply mean the facelift C63, a friend works at MB Melbourne and they've already had test models arrive for staff, so I'd think customer orders are coming in the next few weeks.

Not real sure of the black/white leather - looks great when new but wonder how it will look in a few years unless it is cleaned every few days. The new dash/trim looks excellent, overall has quite a bit more "upmarket" feel to it than current model.
Sales guy reckons this is one the dealership ordered back in April/May. No order on it yet, was mine now if I wanted - 170K on the road!! Otherwise will sit in the showroom, maybe a few short drives for serious buyers and regular customers, until sold.
They had a c63 Update sedan in the show room.
Not long now.
Cheers

She did tell me however that there is a severe shortage of PP cars and they've been pusehd back to Feb/March!!! Lucky I didn't order one...
I am extremely happy with the car. Obviously a completely different beast to my previous C280. I like the styling updates and it reminds me somehwat of my earlier E46 M3. I actually like the updated wheel styling as well.
The intital start up sounds pretty crazy but the whole sound it makes is beautiful. It seems a lot more refined than the E92 M3 which I was looking at as well; which in the car I test drive had a a subtle but annyoing whine.
The ride doesn't seem as hard as the pre-update cars which I test drove. It certainly doesn't ride as hard as my old M3.
I have only tried comfort mode with the MCT gearbox. The intial take off doesn't seem as smooth as the older 7 speed. You can almost feel the clutch being let out, kind of like the DCT/SMG gearboxes. Once on the way however, I haven't noticed any difference.

Where are the photos taken - is that north end of Warriewood beach??
Have noticed from your photos a subtle change in the upgrade models - the little piece of trim at about 8 to 11 o'clock on the rear guard, behind the rear wheel, has been deleted
I just noticed the mud-flap change today. A relative of mine has the updated C250 which still has that trim piece. It looks a bit clunky. It seems to have been replaced by a length of black plastic that you can barely see on my car. It extends past the body by about 7-8mm.
I was shocked to see the price of this car is almost double in Australia than what it costs in North America.

Now to start thinking about selling my near mint RS4 cab....

They knocked a bit off the whole car. Didn't bargain over individual extras. They only had a small quota of cars for the remainder of the year and obviously didn't want to discount too much (if at all).
Now to start thinking about selling my near mint RS4 cab....
due to shortage of PP parts.
Now build 9th Nov - Delivery Jan 9.
Anyone else had their orders pushed back?
Anyway still worth the wait.
Cheers
