Thinking of Buying a C63
Hello everyone,
My college day will soon be over, and that means selling my evo 8 which has just been the funnest car i have ever driven and owned. I graduate in 6 months and really just started thinking of what my next car should be for the nest 5 years, and the c63 sounds like an amazing car to own. I will be honest i know very little about it.
My budget will be 52,000 USD, so most likely will be a used 2009,10 model. Can you please tell me what the differences are between 2008,09,10,11 models in terms of performance and looks? and what model i should really look into? I do know the 2012 model has a lot of aesthetic changes but I'm not sure about the models before it.
One thing I hate is i have to let go of manual gear if buy this car which i got used to and love so much. I do realize that this is a mercedes forum, but if you can recommend any other cars around that budget (No problem if used) for me to also look into would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Good luck getting a C63. I recommend you get a used one, maybe a 08. Are you on Evom? I have been on Evom since 04.
I had 3 Evos before and I fully understand when you said that the Evo was the funnest car you ever had..
As per the years differences? no changes on the engine except for 2011 that they came out with the P31 package that has an output of 481hp instead of 451hp, it has forged internals and rear LSD I think.
The old package was called P30 and it came with red calipers, two piece rotors, rear LSD and quite honest I don't know what else.
Other minor changes are the tire brands from Pirellis to Continental and small changes on the side mirrors. Also very odd is that some years the mirrors will fold and some years it wouldn't. I am not the car guru on the C63, I am just going by bit and pieces that I remember.

Now in search for my next car to go on a journey with, but want some help to understand the differences between all the C63 models till 2011, Engine wise and in terms of the body changes.
Grats on your c63 btw.

Well, no changes on engine at all(except with the P31 package rated at 481hp) and no changes on body either. I am fromwrxtoevo, member since Sep 2004 and 5969 post
