C63 Leaders, I always like opinions and you guys are very well versed in the C class so I ask here...
I really like the look of the C63 Coupe and can get one in a few weeks with some nice options including the PP and LSD. Of course I would drop it and put on some HRE's (given for me).
I just picked up a 2012 CLS63 with the PP and have a few other turbo'd rides and Im getting slightly bored of my 2010 E63. What are your thoughts on dropping a W212 for this new coupe? I dont know too much about the coupe and have yet to drive it but Im sure it impresses in dig runs, handling, and high speed sprints. So for those of you who know the coupe or just those who want to chime in, what do you think? FYI my E63 is a 2010 and the interior left something to be desired- maybe thats why I got such a good deal on it.
It seemed that MBZ did some cost cutting on the 2010 models.
If you have not seen my W212- here are a few shots. Ill be honest with you, its not the prettiest car in stock format IMO but with the drop and wheels it does look pretty good.

Yes, very nice... your interior is almost identical to the just release C63... we just turned in our E350 for the C63. The only thing I did not like about the E63 was during my brief track session... I thought it was too jerky. I don't know if that was particular on that car. But as far as looks... yours is super! BTW, can you give me a high paying job like yours. :-)

Thanks guys--- not shocked but a little surprised that all have said keep the E especially since Im asking in "your house".
It's because you have one of the nicest looking E63's. I understand getting bored with your current ride, and wanting to start a new project, but from looking at your stable that you currently have, I would say hold off on the regular C63, and wait out for the C63 BS.

Vic, I'd also keep the E. You have a Porsche, GTR, IS-F, and probably some others. IMO you have some of the best 2 door cars you can get. And 2 awesome 4 doors. If you need to make a beer run you can fit more in the E. Not to mention you have to keep the ladies comfortable and the E63 is a good fit for that job.
I would get the coupe if you love it. I don't think the lines are anywhere near as nice as your E63, which admitedly looks 10x better than stock form (your E63 is remarkable). But, it sounds like you would really like the coupe and you are over the E63. So, maybe it's good to try something new.
SELL SELL SELL to me, im in the market, for a 2010 E63
seriously tho, what aspects do u think were cost cutting?
also what are your MODS, and Miles on the car etc

You need a ZR-1....a blown rear drive monster.....you can get a low mile one in the 70's-80's now which is the same as a C63 Coupe...
PS...the stance of your E63 is EPIC.....all others must park in another lot while in it's presence

Keep your car because your car is better looking. I saw a C63 coupe at the dealership and I don't like the Honda Accord coupe accent especially the MSRP is more than $82,000. I am planning to trade in my 2011 C63 for the upcoming Black Series.

Guys you are all spot on... after posting this thread I decided to go and check the car out in person. There is a member here who ordered one from the House of Imports and cancelled on it (he has posts about it) so I was able to go visually see the car and drive it.
The looks are nice but as mentioned earlier the lines are not the same or as good as my E IMHO. I actually have to almost 2nd the comment about the Accord coupe part.
It does drive faster from a dig than the E but thats the weight piece. The interior was really not that great and the member here who ordered it mentioned the materials used were not that good; I cant disagree. Its still a very nice car and it performs but its not a replacement for my E.
I appreciate all the input and opinions- the C AMG forum is a great place.
