The PSS are nice but a much better choice would be the Yokohama AD-08. For pure dry performance, not much else as capable outside of a pure R compound tire. If not the AD-08, my second choice would be the Bridgestone RE-11. I found the RE-11 to hold up better and provide better traction at the track than the PSS. The PSS is a better overall tire for street/track blend but the AD-08/RE-11 are better track tires IMO.

Id guess because people think of forums as chatting. What fun is it to search? Maybe things have changed since then or the info is old. Maybe someone has joined the forums since the previous discussion and can offer more insight that wasn't included in the search for topic.
I enjoy the forums for member interaction. If I wanted a digital answer I would use google.
Thats my reason. Lol

r888 hands down the best for price/ performance on dry/ track use. re11 is heavier than ad08 but perform better on wet, it would be good if it's shaved for dry/ street/ drag use. for wet/ street/ traction, pss is the best but it might lack some drag strip performance.
