Good race. Pretty much even since Jon in the OE car weighs about 60 pounds less than the other car. Ill race you BK. We weight about the same.
Race seemed to go from 2nd gear just shifting into 5th?
This was front page on BB.com right? lol. Funny stuff. I guess Joe needs more drama to keep things moving over there. Been a ghost town since Jon and my 60-130 bs.
Im glad Jon found a new c63 to stalk.

Nice runs. 60lb's is a bit over 1/2 a car length. It was pretty much an equal race. If you look at the 3rd cars video as you passed you guys were pretty much side by side going into 5th (135) So little difference. The right side view is very deceiving as it exaggerates the distance.
I do believe the OE tune is stronger though.
3 lane tuned C63 race sounds like fun.

Front page is nothing against you. Its just funny how it was news worthy. Even our 60-130 wasn't. Its just amateur hour on that site.

I was simply analyzing the run. You weigh 60 less pounds. That is a factor for sure. You have a P30. Lighter rotors and your car sits lower and has a stiffer racing suspension. Also helps high speed runs. Did you only do 1 run? Do you have any others to share? Surely you cant come to any conclusions with only 1 run? It was way to close. You need to switch lanes at least. Being on the outside has more wind resistance in that spot for sure.
At 12 seconds you passed the 3rd car at about 6K RPM in 4th gear. That's about 130. You were not 1 car ahead at that point. Looking at his in car video. It was about 1/2 a car.

Maybe BK63 will say it again. The 2 runs we did he said he lost by a car to 130. Yes its hard to tell from video. Sits lower? He has a front lip which is very low. P30 has 2piece rotors front. One piece rear. Its 6lbs lighter. BUT I also have LSD so its a wash. We both had 1/2 gas.
I'm telling you, everyone needs to bring a 50lb bag of sand when they race you. That's the only way it will be even. LOL
Did you have your spare tire removed?

I believe the P30 sits lower than a standard C63 yes. The P31 does for sure. You have a racing suspension. You also weigh 60 pounds less. Not a wash. You definitely have the weight advantage and the suspension advantage. Even if it doesn't sit lower its still a stiffer racing suspension. Much better for high speeds runs.
I'm telling you, everyone needs to bring a 50lb bag of sand when they race you. That's the only way it will be even. LOL

The lip does lower the front end, but not the suspension. Its still helps though. So even if you take away your P30 suspension advantage you still weight 60 less pounds.
