The factory wheels are 9.5" wide, and can't fit anything wider than a 285. I need more rear tires, so I do need wheels. The rear fenders are already rolled from the factory, so there's not much room to work with on the outside (I measured maybe 4-5mm of clearance before rubbing). There's a bit of room on the inside, but 305's would be cutting it close. The CLK63 BS has a huge advantage here, it'll clear 305's no problem if you roll the fenders. On the outside alone, the CLK63 BS has 10mm of space to work with stock, 15mm with the fenders rolled. Pretty tight clearance from the factory with the C63 BS.
With that being said, I really like the look of the factory wheels, and haven't been able to find an aftermarket wheel that has the right look. So ya, still trying to decide what to do there.
Anywhere from 4-5k. I'm on the higher end of the spectrum, since I got the tails + reflectors matte tinted, windows tinted, and headlights tinted as well.

so this is just a matte clear wrap? will it have the same effect if I do it on a non metallic black car (040).
also love your matte tinted tails. that looks sick.

Rage the car looks great! Your C63 was one of the cars that inspired me to wrap mine.
In the video it looks like they used multiple pieces of wrap to do the front bumper. If that is the case are the lines noticeble?

Rage, that is quite the work, I personally love the looks of the OEM wheels and they look quite wide, but a little more rubber is always good.
Andrei, I might give you a call about wrapping my car, just have to get might head into it!

Wow, that looks amazing. I would've thought that a matte wrap would clash, or take away from the matte wheels, but it doesn't now that I see it. Makes the car look even more aggressive.

going to have to agree... MB really did well in choosing a rim to go with the BS. The concave on the rears are simple amazing. Can't think of another rim (HRE included) that would give you the same aesthetic value

Mercedes did a great job with the new Black Series C63.
The OE wheel looks quite similar to our P43.
If you want to keep a very OE feel, maybe a P44SC or P47SC would do the job.
We are working on a Black Series right now that will be featured in May. Our wheel will likely be a lighter option from the OE wheel.

Sorry about this slight detour to the thread, but how much weight savings will be achieved with the HRE wheels for the BS. PM me if you want with this information and the prices.
