HOLY AICH EE DOUBLE HOCKEYSTICKS! That's as much as the rest of the kit...Originally Posted by Dads C63
The bottom lip on the front bumper and the AERO package C/F fins(winglets) are all options and sold separately. All the C/F parts for the B/S are EXTREMELY expensive and will NOT be on this car. Just to give you an idea the smallest C/F fin on the outside of the front bumper is $900 each. The next one down(fin) is $1400 each. So the two aero package fins are $2300 per side or $4600 for the four small C/F fins on the two sides of the BS front bumper. OUCH!! The front lip was even more.

I'll keep you updated.
There's also a lower lip that's part of the aero package, but not the carbon package, and it's considerably less expensive than those winglets. Well, I guess it's all relative compared to the carbon stuff, which I knew better than to even check the prices of...
Still, it looks great, Keith! Can't wait to see how your guys tie it into the running boards.

Why do you keep avoiding the question about the rear fenders lol ? Front fenders + bumper are useless without the rear. It will look weird

Who are you directing that question at??Originally Posted by - Guilty -

I think this thread was directed toward the increasing number of us that have already converted our cars to rear wide body, myself included. Originally Posted by - Guilty -

Thanks for the input, though.

I am doing this now so everyone will know whether or not they are bolt on parts and they are for the most part. Some plastic pieces need to be trimmed and slightly modified for the front bumper to fit but its not difficult.
I believe Revozport and/or Stone Carbon will be making some BS parts that are similar to the originals.

Yes, they are all OEM parts and no they aren't cheap. Those prices look like full retail so you should be able to negotiate better pricing but thats up to you and your dealer.

I am still mystified at how dealers can get body panels for the Black Series to sell to customers with non black series cars. Doesn't AMG keep a tight rein on these parts so as to not diminish the cache of these special vehicles??

heheh im a bit surprised that some of the members are able to get there hands on OEM parts. I was under the impression that those are replicas. From my experience I was told that it was not possible to order BS parts.Originally Posted by Maverick1975

Personally I think the kit is just wayy over priced. im gona wait and see razorsports version. they should have it out soon.
I am sure that Revozport or Stonecarbon or others will come out with a replica kit just like they did the F1 DTM bumper years ago.
I do love the look of the new BS and will not replicate it myself to sell. All my parts are OEM and will not be replicated so those with the true BS are still safe with me.
I originally bought just the two front fenders so I could get wider tires on the front for road racing. Then they didn't line up correctly and the body shop said it would be easier and look better if I could get the front bumper so I did. Then the side rocker panels don't look right .......................
Its a never ending project as most of you already know how a simple mod turns into a major mod.
I will keep you updated as we make progress. Still waiting on the new ram air hoods completion before painting it all and finishing the project.

I think so, not sure what the base was.
But they are also doing a sedan version.

You just made my day!!Making over the coupe into the BS will be an easy fix. In fact, I'm surprised they redid the rear fenders when you can actually order the rear quarter panels which could have made the entire package MB OEM. The real challenge is the rear quarter panels and doors on the sedan as we all know. Its got to be a custom job.
