Warranty about to expire. Should I ask for anything?
Nothing is wrong with the car, as far as I can tell. She's got 31k miles on her and drives better than she did on day one. she's not my daily driver.
Is there anything I should ask/strongly encourage the dealer to replace while i'm still under warranty?
Thoughts?
Eric
most of the mechanical stuff they will want to see if fail before they will do anything with it. btw are you thinking of keeping the car? (guessing yes) you might want to look into getting extended limited warranty or at least a 3rd party warranty.
I'm new to this forum. I'm thinking of picking up a used 2009 C63 with very low mileage (under 5k). The original warranty will expire in mid-September so I wanted to get some feedback on extended warranty and common problems C63 owners have encountered.
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
I would suggest you get an extended warranty if you are going to keep the car. It is also a big plus for resale.

Also when you get an extended warranty do you have to bring the car in for inspection or is it something I can just purchase?
Get it documented that you were concerned. This documentation may come in handy in the future should you need engine work done because of the head bolt issue (while no longer under warranty).
Also, I'd never get anything but the MB Extended Limited Warranty (ELW). Do it. Definitely worth it for the M156 engine cars.
