anyone used these type of driveway ramps?

http://www.bridjit.com/

these will do the trick for me, but i am concerned about someone rolling by and stealing these pieces of black rubber that i paid almost $400 for. has anyone used these before?

Actually great idea, I have been thinking about how to get around the same situation.

These are used for people who's driveways have a "miami" style half curb to them , such as all the driveways in Florida do.

Bets the hell of dragging a piece of plywood over the drive way everytime you want to go in and out.

My guess is they'd last less than 48 hours, even in my gated community.

I suppose I could just pull it out when I need it and then put it inside of my driveway gate afterwards, but that seems like a lot of effort. The other option is to just remove my aftermarket front lip, but that's no fun either! I was even planning on lowering the car...

The problem with my driveway entry is that not only is the driveway inclined, but my street has a massive crown to it, so it is literally like diving down through a valley, which makes me scrape. Plus the narrowness of the driveway gate limits my ability to approach at large angles. Ho hum.

Ramps are banned in our city, as they mess with storm drainage, and apparently a hazard for people walking around. I had the city come and repave my sidewalk with a flat curb for $3500. Does LA do that or can you just tear your sidewalk apart yourself to do it? Honestly, it's the best car mod ever. I never worry about scraping.

to be honest that looks like an eyesore anyways if you just leave it out in front of your driveway. They should've picked a colour closer to the curb so it's not as ugly.

I believe that it's made out of tires. Maybe that's the reason it's black.

Come at it sideways and you won't have an issue, I just drive on the sidewalk for a bit instead of hitting those driveways head on. lol

for this few pavement you were charged for $3500? Wow! That feels like a Mercedes tax.
