Wide Rear Fender Extension Group Buy
Hey guys, is there anyone interested in a group buy for rear fender extensions for the C63 Sedan? The fenders will be made by RevoZport, all we need to provide them with are the number of people interested in the project and we have to settle on the fender style. They will then evaluate it and send us a quote. Anyone interested?

Here is the email that they sent to me,
"Yes, certainly, we’d be happy to take group buy orders for the rear fenders. If there’s any existing fenders out there that you like the design, please forward them to me so I can evaluate the cost and pricing accordingly."
I'm really excited about this, hope we can make this work, our C63's really need wider rears.

We have to decide on the look. Basically we have to give him a picture of what we want and he will make it. I was thinking we should go with the Black Series look but maybe someone else has a better idea?
The C63 Wide Body Kit that RDB LA did has aggressive rear fenders but I guess that wont flow with the rest of the standard body.

"1. Material of our bumper is by FRP produce with vacuum infusion technology.
2. For the rear fender, yes you will need to cut your metal fender, install the FRP ones and have it moulded in to your rear quarter panel. You will need to have an experience workshop to work on it.
3. That’s all the picture we have for our wide body C63."
That is what they sent to me. They sent pics of the C63 done by RDB LA, according to them those fenders will fit an 11J tire. When I asked for pricing on the fender package (like the one done by RDB LA)he then quoted me $3500 which includes both rear fenders and a customized rear bumper to flow with those massive fenders. But the price would be much lower in a group buy.

That's right BAD430BENZ, we need agree on a fender style and tell RevoZport how many people are involved then they will evaluate and send us a quote.
I actually do like Josh's rear fenders but I don't think he would appreciate us copying his setup. But if all else fails then I think that's the way we should go.

Won't be cheap but you do save by not having to fabricate parts like Josh did. I'm guessing 10 hours to install and mold the each quarter. Add about 2.5 each side of the bumper for the extensions, and add another 3 for the door extensions and paint. So you are looking 15-20 hours + paint materials and time.

I would steer clear of a bs replica as was mentioned previously it wouldn't flow unless the front end matched. I would love to see something like the silver dragons set up, as the flow and lines of the fenders and rear bumper look oem and not like a molded set of bushwacker fender flares on some widebody cars.

i don't know where you live but if you pay 8 or 9 grand for this setup , the people doing it for you are ripping you off
you can come here to El Paso , Tx and get a complete paint job for about half that cost . i painted my showcar (CLK430) for $6k and that was a strip down to bare metal , remove all glass and mouldings and even remove the engine from the engine bay , spray the body with DuPont Hot Hues "Snowstorm White" w/ six coats of clear and even color matched the lips of the wheels . i would hate to see what this would cost in your neck of the woods

Just spoke with my buddy who owns an autobody and restoration place who has extensive experience in this and the biggest thing he stressed to me was the quality of the parts. If they are well made with good fitment then his job becomes a bit easier. A bad product would result in more labor and material cost. He quoted me roughly 6k.

305 in the rear.
Guys, I want this to happen, but lets not forget that we also have to remember and consider that the rear doors will have to be adjusted as well. Our rear fender, and especially if we are trying to get a wide body back there, incorporates the doors. I am so excited and wouldn't mind, if it makes it happen, to put up a down payment, so-to-speak.
What is the latest?

I completely agree. I do not want to do a BS style. Not what I want and not aggressive enough.
Everyone: think Josh, Silver Dragon. That's the look that I want!!!!!!!
