Endless Brake Pads for your Mercedes!
One of the great things about working at a shop that had it's beginnings specializing in Japanese cars is that we have great connections to amazing Japanese companies like this! Now that we are quickly growing into powerhouse in the European market I get to introduce brands like Endless to you guys.
Endless has been around professional motor sports since 1987 when they premiered their new brake compounds in the Japanese F3000 championship. Within a year they were providing brakes to 70% of the teams racing in that league.
100% Manufactured and Designed in Japan they have had success in racing classes all over the world. World Rally Cars and many Touring cars in Europe have used their pads.
Since 2003, Endless has also been involved in Formula One as a supplier of
brake fluid to the Honda F1 Team, Brawn GP and Mercedes GP!
DIRECTLY FROM ENDLESS:
"A few key points that highlight our pads compared to other manufacturers:
Good stopping power, very rotor friendly, better rotor and pad wear in the long run, non-dust for street, eliminates the need for constantly cleaning wheels. Other compounds dust and are difficult to clean because the carbon materials used to manufacture pads that gets sticky over time. Because all of our pads are made from a semi-metallic compound, so you don’t have that issue and any brake dust produced comes off without too much effort. Our pads also offer good modulation and great control through corners."
We decided to give you at 3 options which I think will be good enough for the basic street driver up to the Track enthusiast: Premium Compound, MX72 and ME20.
- Premium Compound is the basic street compound that offers very low dust and low noise this is the compound for the driver that drives like a normal street car owner would. The MX72 will be good enough for this type of application too, but I wanted to give you three options rather than just two.
- MX72 is the cross between street and track. This pad still offers low noise and low dust, but a better initial bite than the Premium Compound and is slightly more aggressive for the driver with a heavier foot and those who run the occasional track days. Like I mentioned before, the MX72 will work just as well on the street for the typical driver at the colder temperatures.
- ME20 is our go-to track pad, most circuit racers will start with this compound to get a feel for the specific characteristics that they’re looking for. Unlike the other compounds listed, ME20 is circuit compound so it does put off a little dust but not so much that it’s unmanageable. It offers a strong initial bite and a good pedal response.
