Khmergod - yes, you definitely should. Do both the front and rear wheels on one side of the car with the 10 bolts you have, and check both for wheel clearance and interference with the parking brake mechanism on the rear. If the wheels spin freely, lower the car and drive it SLOWLY so you can see the stance and check for rubbing.

lol! I would love to, but will just wait for the other bolts to come in so I can have them done all at once at the shop. I drive 45mins just to get there :P

I might just do the rears first. Will that be ok? Or should I do all of them at the same time? It's funny how 3 weeks ago Matt sold me cf mirrors. 3 weeks later I'm just about done with all the mods I'm willing to do on the car....

the torque wrench has settings for various forces. you set it to 96 ft/lb, for example, and when that pressure is reached, the wrench "clicks". that's what that clicking sound is when people use a torque wrench.

I am pretty sure the owner's manual has a section about putting on the spare tire if you get a flat. It's not any different. Plus, I am sure you can google it or ask someone to help you out if you've never done it before.

I've changed spares before, but it was just usually for a short period and made sure the lugs were snug and got a new tire within a day at a tire shop. They do the rest of course.

it's really a simple process, and i'm sure there are youtube videos showing you exactly how to use a torque wrench. i totally understand why you wouldn't want to touch your car if you arent familiar with these things, but it's pretty simple. plus, you don't want to have to drive 45 minutes to the shop again when you decide to either take the spacers off or change them to a thinner size. give it a shot!

96 ft lb is equal to 130 Nm. If you actually tighten the wheel to 130 ft lb, you will either strip the bolts or stretch them to the point where they wont' be able to provide the required structural integrity, or alternatively warp the hub and/or strip the threads in the holes in the hub. 130 ft lb is WAY too much torque. I think you're probably just mixing up your Imperial with SAE units.

It's not about the amount, but rather the concept of over-tightening. If you know what the application calls for (96 ft lb) and you have a way of accurately measuring it (torque wrench), why would you *knowingly* stretch and weaken the metal regardless of how insignificant the amount is? Do you want your bolts to break and your wheels to fall off?
Yes, the extra 4 ft lb amounts to less than 5% of the proper value so it is very unlikely that it would damage anything, but again, why do something that you know is wrong if you can just as easily do it right? Contrary to what you may think, over-tightening a fastener is certainly NOT safer than tightening it to the proper value. Torque wrenches exist for this very reason.

Do it yourself bro, I'm not a DIY type of guy (cuz I don't have much time) but switching tires is pretty simple & important to learn in case of emergency.
All u need is a floor jack (don't recommend using the OEM jack), torque wrench & the right socket depending on what lugs u r using. And yes, 100lbs will not harm ur vehicle, I also put 100lbs with my spacers for peace of mind.. But don't put 135lbs, u r asking for troubles. Lol

Harbor freight (if you have one in your area) have some pretty good deal as well on floor jack and jack stands. I bought mine from them.

A jack to raise the car, and a beverage of your choice to consume AFTER you've put them on yourself!
