IMO you are wasting your money, what did you spend on your 2013 C63 coupe? $72,000? For $20,000 more you could have had a real Black Series, there are a few without the "ugly" wing listed in the high to mid $90k's which you could have probably picked up for low $90K money.
You are going to spend at least $15k for a proper widebody conversion(excluding wheels) since the rear panels need to be cut and welded(major body work) and it will need a complete paint job, the "cheap" body kits go for $5,000 and a good one will run you $7,500 and doing it with all original MB parts(the right way to do it) will cost you $12,000 and that does not include labor or paint. Then don't forget you need wheel spacers and special wheels with special off-set and back spacing to fill your new wider wheel wells and don't forget the new wider rubber.
Come to think of it once you factor kit, install labor, paint, wheels and rubber you will probably end up spending more than you would have on the real deal

enjoy......in the mean time I will be out enjoying mine with the ugly wing

After it's all said and done he might save a couple thousand bucks on going the conversion route but think of all the down time while the car is in the shop. Let's not forget there are some goodies on the black series such as KW coil-overs, rear dif cooler, P31 and LSD that come standard on a BS that his car will still not have(unless he purchased a P31 then he will get red brake calipers and forged internals like a BS).

Total cost $10,000.
For all the idiots saying its a poser body kit, you need to take the pickle out of your ***. This body kit isn't EXACT. Second the car is still a C63. It's no where near the same as a c250 owner putting a c63 kit+badges on their car. Give it a rest. Not every1 was fortunate enough to get a reserved black series. The body kit without the wing and front sidemarker flares looks like a different car and ten times better.

However it does looks sweet though when all is said and done!

...and last but not least you are looking to lease this car based on another thread you started
https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...good-deal.html
Who in their right mind would lease a car and then drop $15,000-$20,000 into it?
Dude, do yourself a favor and get a real Black Series

Sorry "idiots" was too harsh lol. <3 Just sick of the poser talk, its so silly. People can do what they want to their cars. That's why it's "their car"

It's not 20grand. It's 10grand max. If you pay more you are a fool and didn't do the research or proper sourcing.
Please tell me how much a black series c63 goes for in toronto? I'm gunna guess a lot more than a c63 stock.

THIS!!!!! lol.

To echo his comments below...
And to your original point, no issue if you can't afford a Black Series but just not understanding why are you trying to create a budget knock off on a leased vehicle. Please feel free to prove us wrong but based on the collective experience on this forum it is clear that trying the cheap/shortcut route will not yield the desired result.
More importantly, the C63 is truly a badass car in its own right... if anything you should look at wheels, springs, carbon trim bits, etc. Things are are easily reversed and have some resale value.
To each their own of course, good luck either way... and make sure you post pictures on how your project progresses.

I respect you, vise and jrcart. You guys have amazing vehicles and great taste. I love seeing your threads with great pictures. But please just let it go.
p.s. good guy khmergod
My 2 cents... it doesn't take much time on the forum to realize jrcart knows what he is talking about. The OP can ignore that if he wants but calling a long time/respected member like jrcart an 'idiot' and 'someone that has no clue what he is talking about' is borderline trolling.
Back to the original point, if the OP doesn't want to accept advice/recommendations that is fully within his right... but it does not discount the advice being given (ie. below).
