DIY - Passenger Side Fog Housing
Thanks to post of others, I had the courage to do this for $130 for the housing from Parts.com (do give them your VIN number to check your selection). I have a 2009 C63.
Remove the wheel and then jack stand the car for access to the wheel well. (where to jack stand is a regular debate)
Put the new housing back in the same way you got the old out:
Putting the torx screws back in will be about as frustrating as getting them out... have patience.
Once in, clean the fog bulb with alcohol before reinstalling the assembly. My assembly came with a new bulb, but my other side was yellow, so I bought to match. The bulb just presses in to the assembly. Place the wire and connection pointing to about 1 o'clock, then rotate in clockwise.
Check that all wires and hoses are free as you reinstall all the fasteners. Double check before putting the wheel back on (and torque on properly - 96 ft-lbs if I recall for stock wheels)
Good Luck and expect a little skin off your knuckles.

I can't get the fog light back (light burnt out) in with the tabs, going to have to drop the bottom liner too. My knuckles are swollen. Thanks for the write-up though because I couldn't remember which direction I turned it to get out...

If just the bulb assembly, I found it helpful to look from the front through the glass to see the bulb was straight before turning.

Oh... And finish it off with an application from LaminX to help prevent future breakage.

Odd... I'm on phone now, but check my album... They were all there.
I looks like they changed the album's web addresses.

I know this is old, but thank you! I tried yesterday and couldn't get it out. I'm thinking about just taking the bumper off and being done with it.
I couldn't find a way to get to the two inside torx without removing the oil cooler, and that wasn't happening!

Patience and feel... Definitely the hardest part... I suggest to take off the bottom skirt and go from underneath before you try the whole bumper.

I took the bumper off. The whole thing took me like 45 minutes and i didnt have to cram my hands into tight spaces. The sad part is my lower grille cracked like a week later and I have to take the bumper off again to replace it...
