Dimsport Woes
I have a Eurocharged V4 tune and the flash loader. I took the car in for service at the dealer this morning and flashed it back to stock prior to going there. Well, now that I want the tune back, the device says its "in recovery mode" and won't let me flash the V4 tune and won't let me reset the device. I plugged it into my computer, updated the software like I did on day 1, reloaded the tune back onto the loader, and it still says recovery mode. I called EC in Houston and DC and got no answer. I figured it was probably the holidays and didn't actually expect anyone to pick up. Anyone have this same problem? Any tips would be helpful as I hate the stock tune. Thanks!

I couldn't flash a tune into my car's ecu at all with this goofy programmer. I just send my ecu to the tuning facility now to get tuning changes. I do not know why they cannot set up a deal with SCT or Diablosport, as I've used these on three of my vehicles that have became or were factory supercharged without an issue ever. I can even add or subtract fuel/timing without even bothering the tuning facility on the Ford vehicles I have equipped with an old fashioned SCT 2 programmer.

Well. I went out and tried it again. User error. I guess I wasn't going all the way through recovery mode. Once I did, it let me flash the tune again. Thanks for the help and the quick response on a holiday weekend. Rest assured I will definitely continue to recommend you guys for tunes.

DO NOT Recovery...goto the first menu which leads to write. first map should be Original, second 91/93 octane, third 100/104 race fuel, and 4th Valet.

Did the dealer do an Upgrade on your ECU ? Sometimes the upgrades become unpredictable when it comes with Dimsport. When you tried to upload the tune, it may have been incompatible
Unfortunately a reset Costs 150-250 USD and I have been down that path before...ouch
