Dynamic tune ??
As I finally decided to keep my C BS after receiving my SLS BS , I'm considering the S/C upgrade.
It is clear to me that Weistec is the best option with their S3.
However , during my little research ( didn't last long with Weistec name everywhere
) I found a tuner with a S/C solution that would not affect the stock ECU... Explanations ? :They had their own device between the S/C and the ECU that will do all the math & tune but leave the ECU completely stock.
More than that ( this is the part I'm interested in ) their device allows the driver to switch "on/off" the S/C via the Sport settings button.
"C" -> S/C off
"S+" -> S/C full power
Isn't that so cool ??
I would be all over it if Weistec had this option. This tuner says his S/C gives 680hp ( thats about the Weistec S2 power so I guess they use the same S/C)
Anyone think its possible to retrofit or adapt this thing ?

if you don't want full boost , don't stomp on the pedal . when I had my Stage 3 , I could drive around at any normal driving condition in or out of traffic like a stock vehicle.....then when it was time to play , you smash the throttle and away you go . I would think if you wanted to be stock but have power at the flick of a switch.....buy nitrous

I would like to see pricing and some sort of customer review on this thing anyway

So pretty much every statement you've made is a bad idea, Id tread lightly.
My thoughts exactly. You can't just turn off a S/C. It's mechanical with a belt attached to your crank pulley. The S/C pulley dictates the spin of the twin screw which the amount of air goes through the chambers. Any fuel discrepancy will make it lean or rich.
I understand mpg isn't important and that's what i was trying to get at - that emissions and fuel consumption are the only advantage of this overly complex setup. You're much better off just getting one of the turbo cars, have the tuner set up a switch for a boost controller so you can be slower or faster depending on what you're wanting. It'd be way cheaper, simpler and reliable.
