I would suggest the philips H7 diamond vision bulbs for a better match between xenon and fog light. I have them on my car and i like it.

2) The fog light has a standard H7 socket but the problem is Mercedes has a proprietary bulb holder which would prevent the aftermarket HID bulbs to be inserted probably. BMW has done the same thing. But luckily for Mercedes owners, that holder is nothing but a piece of metal. You can find it easily on eBay.

Beware of cheap counterfeits! The China-made lamps duplicate nearly everything....even down to the packaging. However, the moment you turn on your lights, is when you'll see all the fake's shortcomings; weak illumination, short bulb life, high current draw, high heat and in some cases - destruction of your lighting system's wiring harness. The total cost of materials(including packaging) is about $5.00USD.
Philips NV has long been aware of mass copies of their product, and has implemented a non-duplicating, factory Seal of Authenticity now. If you don't see this at the top corner of the sealed box - don't ever buy it.
Now, on to the REVIEW:
The difference between the REAL Diamond Vision bulb and the fake, is like night and day. The genuine bulb lights up the road. There is nothing dim about the genuine Philips product at all. You get a crisp, blue glow of intense white light, projected at the center of the beam. Oncoming drivers have never flashed me, because they were blinded...like in OEM HIDs. What you are getting is honestly about 80% close to real HID illumination - for a fraction of the cost. The secret? Philips uses Aluminum and Potassium Silicate-treated Tungsten Carbide filaments, encapsulated inside REAL Quartz Crystal...not cheap blown glass, like in the counterfeits. The result is increased Lumens, and undiffused white light.
Would I buy it again? Absolutely....ONLY if it is Genuine Philips Diamond Vision H1. This bulb is far superior to Sylvania Silverstar H1, Osram Cool Blue H1, Hella High Performance Xenon Blue H1 and PIAA Extreme White H1...and trust me - I tried them ALL!

It can't be switched off by US but the tech at my dealer was able to by coding the SAM and turning the feature off. Try talking to a cool service writer or a good tech he should be able to sort you out. Also I got a canbus ballast locally which does not need those pesky canceler's piggy backed to the HID ballast. They were cheap and eliminate the warning canceler's that always go bad.
Hope this helps

.... Anyway i'll just put a regular yellow bulb with yellow lamin-x cause its hard to match the color of the headlights and fogs and again im annoyed with those flickering lights when turning.
