You just proved yourself wrong again
Because it can be said with 100% certainty you've been wrong before
Unless you were born the day before your post which is a distinct possibilty judging from the immaturity of the post lol
And I've been wrong before...but not this time

I'm not sure why people think there is a big difference between stock cars
M has 10% more hp
AMG 15% more torque and is 5-10% lighter

EC Off the shelf Tune (Soon to be custom OE)
MBH Headers with catless x pipe
AP Exhaust
Evosport UD Pulley
CF Intakes
Renntech Throttle bodies
Weistec Valve body and TCU Tune
Those are my power mods also have other supporting mods for cooling/general better car but don't make a difference on a roll race
Def not an easy pull the m5 is a beast and FBO with SMG that also had ess trans software. They pull great uptop that's why we went all the way to almost 185 they thought theyd pull me back in but didn't happen. Next time I want a dig race

pretty solid run though car sounds amazing

Off the shelf headers tune but EC is known to be less aggressive so im switching to OE. I also need a custom tune because its just a general headers tune and doesn't take into account my Intake, Throttle bodies, and full exhaust.
I got the RT Throttle bodies for a steal off shop owners buddy they were on a e63 for only 3K miles. Thanks brother ! Go pro footage didn't come out good so had to settle for this iphone footage. Don't see these twocars this highly modded running against each other much

The AMG has almost as much torque at peak HP as the M does PEAK!
At peak HP:
AMG 350 lb ft
M 260 lb ft
Big delta 35%
And that is the standard 451 hp engine
507 has 391 lb ft at 6800 rpm
That is > than the M's peak torque

Well, I think I can add some good inputs here since I currently own both vehicles.
I have a 2006 M5 slightly modded and a 2009 C63 slightly modded as well. Both have tunes, both have some exhaust work and both have CAI kits and also all necessary maintanence.![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Plain and simple - the M5 is faster. Sorry dudes, I hope I dont get thrown into the fire. Yes, the Merc has more tq, but believe it or not, my 63 is heavier...I took them both to a truck stop scale and the Merc was roughly 68lbs heavier.![crazy](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/crazy.gif)
Additionally, I think the gearing in the M5 is better. Funny thing is, after all these years, I never taken them to the track to confirm, but I have done many runs to Mexico and back, and the M comes on top.![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
I like both cars for what they are, however, the M5 is much more polished and more balanced car vs the C63. Then again, C63 is not a direct comparison even if they can make equal power levels once your tweak the ECU and add a few "go fast" goodies. The E63 is a better comparison vs the M5. At the end of my purchasing search, I finally decided to go with the C63 because I liked the size and the engine sound over the E63.![Stick Out Tongue](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/tongue.gif)
However, the E63 is much more luxurious and better looking interior wise...but it felt big. The M5 is not a small car, but it felt much more nimble and tighter vs the E63...the C63 ride quality takes getting used to. From a financial perspective and after putting together my driving impressions, I decided to move forward with the C63 - no regrets!

Maybe ill run from a Dig next time and show ya what torque can do LOL these are the m5's type of run 45-185 top end. If we play my game from a dig I'm sure you know what torque does

C63 , M5 , M3
I can see that this M5 have a modified oem headers which gives 25 whp and mine is AP headers which gives 40hp
Rolling is too low that is for C63 side since it has more TQ
45 is the best rolling for the C63
Give the M5 a chance and roll in 75
Lets see the results
