Ok thanks, are these the same as the ones on Weistec website? Do these airboxes affect smog and emissions or not

They are OEM parts from MB/AMG; just the ROW spec. Come with new MAF's and everything. That is where I got mine from and then got the AFE Pro Dry S from amazon.

I just ordered mine from www.oediscountparts.com for $339.00 shipped! The part numbers that you need are:

1560940306
1560940406

New MAF's are also included with these parts I then did what edwardsflight33 did and ordered the AFE filters (PN: 31-10195) from Amazon for $124 shipped so in total i spent $463.00

Likely not worth the time and or money. What exactly do you think you'll accomplish with this mod? I did the swap, wish I would have just kept the money and wasted it on Red Bulls or cheeseburgers.

Once you install, you should dyno it and let us know if it helped.

Better yet, a before and after comparison.

That would be really helpful for someone like me that is still borderline about these and if they are worth it. I know there is one person that did a before/after and got a ~25% whp gain so another such example would seal the deal!

Yeah let us know when they arrived. Because that is the cheapest price I've seen so far for new airboxes!

The internet is fantastic for finding information but this is an example of how dangerous the internet can be. The link shows how to destroy an airbox cover. Getting rid of the charcoal filter is fine but he destroyed the velocity stack which kills flow and most likely causes bad readings at the maf sensor.

I didn't like the flat side of the bell mouth so I bought a set of ROW airbox covers. I also bought them from oe for $336.

Not saying they won't add anything, but I'm sure if they gave 22whp, EVERYONE would have them.

I agree, 22whp is more than anyone would expect but the guy posted the back to back dyno pulls and it showed a 22whp increase.

Resurrecting an old thread, but did these fit? I was on the site it said they could not confirm if these would fit a 2010c63.
When you search air covers by the correct model the price is nearly twice this and different part #

IIRC a member here dyno'd an 8WHP difference between stock vs ROW airboxes, no tune.

The two sets of part numbers are for the US spec and the ROW spec airboxes. The part #'s with the higher price are the US spec with the charcoal filters....

I did the same thing: Same part numbers and OEdiscountparts. Also installed AFE high flow filters. No issues and 10 min install.

Maybe it brought 1 or 2 or 3 hp......., can't feel it.
