Think these are safe to install?

Just received these in shipping yesterday and looks like the rivots put some wear marks on the backing plate during shipping. Appears mostly cosmetic, but would any hesitate to install these? Or should I return for new ones?

Thanks!

PS yes I know they're stock. I'll live with the dust as I don't track and really have no complaints with the performance.

Cosmetic scratches on the backing should be fine, won't show once installed.

Looks like someone tried to install once, had wrong pads and returned. They are good to go tho.

I wouldn't hesitate to put them on. No big deal, just a little marring on the back plate insert. May be worth a phone call and emailing a pic. They might give you a couple bucks for lack of proper packing.

I think your head bolts may break if you install those pads.

Thanks! Put them in over the weekend and didn't realize how much stopping power was lost even with the old pads still having life left in them.
