For you tire gurus...

Looking at the new C63, they are running 245/35/19 and 265/35/19, do you see this combination being an issue on a 14 507? ESP issues? Thanks

The dealer put that size on my 09 CPO and no control system issues
When I replace them I will go 235/265
The 245 affect turn in and straightline stability imo
The fronts are also 0.4" taller,(same goes for the oem set up) the 235 will make them the same

I was looking at the Michelin PSS, 245/35/19 are 25.8", and 265/35/19 are 26.3", so there won't be any ESP/handling issues right? Interesting that the new C63 goes with this combination? Albeit the new C63 I image has a different suspension setup...so you wouldn't recommend this setup? Also, I'm using OEM wheels.

The oem 19 are
235/35/19
255/30/19
Correct?
Can you get a 265/30/19 rear?
That way the height difference ratio stays the same
Oem fronts are bigger
Your set up makes the rears bigger
Honestly should not matter either way
Make sure you get XL's
The load ratings should be > oem so you can lower pressure a bit

I think the rule of thumb is keeping the front and rear ~4-5% in diameter from one another.

Anyway, no those are just fine for size, and yes you can put them on your stock wheels and be fine. You won't have any ESP or handling issues.

They make a 265/30
The load ratings are 93 (vs 91 oem) and are XL, air down a couple psi
The ratio F/R are the same as oem
The ratio is probably more important than overall diameter
But the diameters are within 2% anyways
Good to go

thanks guys...I was thinking 265/30 in the rears, and keep 235/35 fronts, but thinking the 35 series sidewall probably more "pothole" friendly, and once I saw them on the new C63, I though to myself those AMG folks must know something I don't
