Secret menu in recent MY
I have a 2011 USDM and I was able to add passive perimeter lines to my rear camera view that are off by default. I turned it on and the lines don't line up with the car but I thought I should share this with you:
On my 2014 GL63, I found a menu line item "ABC" which added a screen to my "system" menu that shows G forces in an F1 style circle along with ride hight at every corner when the car is raised. Pretty useless, but fun to play with. I was also able to change the COMAND clock face. GL has 3 options for that.
I thought to share this with fellow 2013+ MY owners since different models may include the said items in the engineering menus that I found in the GL.
Needless to say, don't blame me if you mess up your settings irreversibly.

yes, you get into the service menu that way. On my 14 C63 it is quite extensive - 7 pages or so. I enabled Gracenotes that way. Many of the settings are somewhat cryptic without description.

Comand needs to be on. I made the assumption that getting into the secret menu is a well known task given that it has been discussed before rather extensively.

On my '13 C63 Coupe (Au release) it gets into an "Engineering mode, Page 1 of 2" which shows some HU options/diagnostics, but I couldn't see how to get to page 2 before it powered down (went out of acc mode).

Move the circle knob down when at the bottom of screen to go to next screen.

It shows up by under the system->clock menu, select the clock menu and then click down on the command controller to go into that mode where you can scroll left and right for additional views - if this was selected correctly in the HU params, there should now be a new option to choose this instead of the clock display.

Was playing around with this over night, didn't find anything useful... can someone explain more clearly how to enable the rear-view camera lines and the G's screen? I got to see the 3 different analog clocks available but they would not change when I would close and open the system.

A thorough explanation would be nice. As of now it seemed a bit useless. I only have 2 clocks available and changed that and added the offroad setting as well as internet. Which gives me a globe icon on right side. Is there a way I can reset it? I tried going reset settings but the new clock and offroad menu are still there
