Anyone else parking there girls for the winter soon? I might be jumping the gun soon, but I also just put a bunch of work into my f350 so Ive got some vehicle joy out of that in the meantime.
Mine will be garaged all winter too. No reason to drive it in the muck of winter and salted roads. And, it would never make it back up my driveway if it did go out in the winter.
Did the fall foliage ride yesterday and may have another chance next weekend.

Thank you. That was up around Clear Creek park.
OhioPyle...Nice ! That's a great drive. I ran up through there two weeks ago. Made a stop at Kentuck Knob for a tour and then down to the falls and into town for a bite to eat.
Last weekend we ran up through Elk County to the new visitor center. If you have a chance I highly recommend it. If you want to see the elk you should get into Benezette around 4 or 5 PM. There are allot of them.

Kentuck Knob is outstanding. Elk County is beautiful. I travel the state a good bit, unfortunately in a fleet car.
Next time you think you might be near Ohiopyle PM if you like and we'll meet up.
Maybe do Fallingwaters or something.

I hope to get another month before the C63 goes on sabbatical. That area is beautiful with lots to do and see. PA381 south of 40 is a great road too - the most scenic way for me to get to Farmington. My wife and were up there a few weeks ago fishing at Ohiopyle and Confluence; she caught a nice Golden Rainbow Trout.

Nice fish
I love fly fishing in the mountains around here, it is great, and that is saying something since I spent 10 years fishing in Alaska
SW PA is a nice place to call home
30 minutes from Morgantown and an hour from Pittsburgh
Low cost of living and great opportunities for the motivated with the right skill sets

I'll be putting mine away in a couple weeks sadly.
What are your winter storage routines?
Heated garage, battery tender or start from time to time. If started, let it reach full temp, it not good to just run any engine for a few minutes then shut it down.
Maybe move it forward or backward a tad. I doubt flat spotting tires is a concern over a few month storage but I have space to move a little so it's no concern.

Awesome, I follow a similar routine. Although I don't use a battery tender. I start my cars up and than maybe move them a bit. Paranoid about flat spots on tires lol.
