Benzwork LT Header Review
Hey, guys just recently installed headers on my car. Had the work done at Fall-Line Motorsports here in Chicago.
First, off the quality of the headers are top notch. I couldn't be happier!
Now, the reason why you're all reading this 😈
The sound: Well no surprise here... The thing sounds like thunder! I still have the secondaries in place with stock catback and it is perfect! No drone. Sounds very tame at cruise. When you put your right foot down... Prepare for heads to turn and have people wonder if there's a nascar event going on...
The power: Well 0 to 100 real *** quick lol! The car has literally woken up... Throttle response is much sharper and the traction light likes blinking at me... A lot! Everytime I go near the gas pedal, I get the idea of what it would feel like to blow myself up lol! It pulls like a freight train... As Jeremy Clarkson would say, "you don't really drive it... You cling on for dear life!"
So recap. Top notch product. Sound to make people think you're a lunatic. And, power to cream your pants. Money well spent in my book! Have a good day guys!

Hey, Mike! Absolutely no cabin drone while driving on the expressway. Very mellow at 65-70 mph. Only once you bury your right foot the highway will echo.

Great! I was worried about it being too loud on the interstate. Hopefully I'll get mine on in the next couple of weeks!

I finally installed mine as well. I picked up about 4 mph at the drag strip with the header install. Went from 118mph to 122mph. By chance do you have any pics of how you tied in the stock secondary cats to the headers?

No I do not. Header back is left untouched. Fall-line just made two cuts and used the adapter pipe to mate the LT to the stock midpipes. Very clean install. I will take pics when I go back to them since they are going to be doing more work to my car. I do not have the secondary cats on though anymore. I had them build me a custom Xpipe in place of the sec cats. It really help remove that metallic rasp. However now I have to deal with the smell of fumes since I removed them.

Zero drone. Everything cat back is left untouched. When you drive normally, the car sounds stock. Just be prepared because once you get headers done, it's probably the loudest street car.

Did your installer mention anything to you about fit? Was it an easy fit / install, did they have to move or modify anything to fit? Is clearance acceptable around all components?

Couple questions:
How much did the headers from Benzwork cost (if you don't mind me asking)?
Why did you choose these headers vs. all the other ones available?
Was there any cutting/welding needed or were they bolt-on?
Did you get a tune after you got them installed? If so, what was the net HP/TQ gain?
Do you have any other go-fast mods? ROW airboxes? Filter upgrade? Etc?
Thanks in advance!

It's a pain in the ***. I think they only had to make a small indention in the passenger header. Other than that there's no rubbing on any components.

I choose these headers because they are a true 4-1 Longtube just like MHP's Setup.
Yes, there needs to be 2 cuts and I had them welded to the factory midpipes. Very simple.
Yes, I'm using a OEtuning stage 2
93 oct.
Stock I dynoed at 380 at the wheels with just ROW air box and afe dry filters. After all said and done I dynoed at 480 on 3rd pull. So on average 100 wheel gain.
Mods: Include... LTs, Xpipe, ROWS, afe, LSD, girodisc 2 piece rotors all around, catch can, billet idler pulleys, sikky intake manifold spacers.
