Hey folks,

My brake pads are soon need to be replaced. My dealership charges me almost $1500 dollars to change the front and the rear ones. Please can anyone help me finding a whole set of new OEM brake pads online? I own C63 13' P31 Coupe.
If you know the product number maybe we can find it online that way?

Thanks,
El-Debs

The stock ones sucks. Get porterfield rs4 pads. They are much better.

http://www.mbonlineparts.com/parts/2...section=BRAKES

Pads & sensors $400
They are easy to change
4 hours taking your time and cleaning everything as you go including the inside of the rims
$1500 is crazy
Does that include rotors!? Lol

really, things change all the time? then why are all these responses the same as in the past brake pads threads? and don't tell me to start new threads, i don't care to see new ones, i just can't believe the volume of repetitive threads going on.

People are lazy
They want others to do their work for them, ie, search/research
Simple fact of life which this place is a microcosm lol

Just saying, we're supposed to be MB enthusiasts. Why not save someone the time of searching. I can understand if there are current threads from the last few days discussing the same things.

I think it comes down to the perception that the guy asking the question appears to think his time is more valuable than others so they should expend theirs to save his
Search 'oem brake pads'
'Oem part'
Etc
And you will find the answer in a few minutes

Maybe you're right but my thought process is that I wouldn't think car enthusiasts browsing forums would be so bothered by answering a repetitive question.

Really it's quite comical. If you don't care to see something just scroll past it. Don't click on something knowing you're going in to leave a negative comment.

Or just search yourself?
I have learned much from doing so
Now if you searched and can't find it or find conflicting info that is another matter

If you look at my first post in this thread
I gave him a link with PN's
The price
The difficulty and time to do the job

But it is tedious to see the same thing over and over, especially such simple ones

Agreed. Part of the start of a thread that's interesting is a discussion that you're actively participating in. People on this forum get pissed when you bring up an old topic ... Be careful, they have the time to comment on yur lack of ability to use the search button ... It's hard for some to just overlook the thread and move it... It's personal to them

Thanks for those who helped me in finding one. Again, before I even ask, I actually did search. Almost all what I am finding is either out of stock or don't ship internationally. Beside that, it really took me hours to find couple of trusted dealers. As much as time is valuable to me, I actually lose nothing while answering someone's question. BTW: I tried to look in the forum for a proper thread that asks this question and has an answer, but I really didn't find a satisfying one here. So I don't think that my thread was redundant.

Cheers,
El-Debs

Thank you MJ50,

I have only found the front pads by searching the part number. However, the rear ones I can'y find them in the forum by searching this part number: 0064207820

is it possible that its not the right one?

I put the info of my car and I go to the braking section and they don't mention anything about pads.

Thanks again,
El-Debs

There appears to be only one rear pad listing for both P31 and non-P31 cars. This from OEDiscountParts for your model year:

0064207820 - REAR PADS C63 AMG

MSRP Core Online Price
$290.00 $0.00 $217.50
