Yes...that is correct. There is a huge warning sticker on the inside of the windshield stating this when you buy the car. Maybe the dealer ripped it off when prepping the vehicle for you

Yes. The factory LSD is intially filled with a "break-in" fluid that you need to change after the first 3K km, but not every 3K km thereafter.

I called the dealer to get rear diff fluid and they told me to run the Castrol syntrax 75w-140.
According to my owners manual, this fluid is only required if you have the performance package with limited slip diff, which mine does not. Parts guy at the dealer said that they run the same fluid in all the AMG cars. Is this correct or should I stick with the Fuchs?

If you look up sheet 235.7 you will see the approved rear axle gear oils. Looks like Fuchs is one choice of 4 and Castrol Syntrax is not one of them.
