OEM BS vote here too. Don't do Prior or HMS IMO. If you're going to go *****-out, then do it right and keep it all metal even if that means custom metal rear fenders.

I'm going to go with all metal OEM BS conversion. I think that's the only way to go. I didn't want any of that plastic crap flying off when I was driving anyways. Stay tuned. This should make DadsC63 proud.

I'll getting the OEM parts ordered in the next couple weeks. The body shop said it'll take 30 days to complete the job. Once it's back at FMU then the dyno runs and tunes will be completed along with some drive time. Light is shining now finally....

I'd be curious to know if the boys @ FMU still have measurements and/or drawings for the roll bars you had installed wouldn't mind looking into getting something like that installed in my whip! especially if it meets Drag strip requirements.
Another question about the Vath tranny cooler you had installed. Would that be roughly same size as the BS tranny cooler or even larger?
Either way sweet build man.

FMU should have the measurements for the roll bar setup.
The Vath is similar in size to the BS cooler but just slightly larger.

2yrs and 5mos since you started the thread... wow. I'd be PISSED if my car took this long and missed 3 track seasons, you must be the most patient man on the planet. I mean, frankly it's ridiculous it has taken this long - you're not breaking any new ground here (although it will be a gorgeous build when complete no doubt). What's been the major issues behind the time it's taking?
Good luck, and looking forward to the final product. Hope you get it back by next year.

Well u can read about some of the reasons on the last few pages. Yes, you need to be very patient when you do any complete rebuild of a car. I wanted it done a year ago, just there are issues that always come up. Just need to get them taken care of and move on to the next. The project is definitely not out of the box either. Some of the issues have arisen from combining several of the components together in my build. All in all it'll b done at some point and I'll be able to enjoy it again.
No, it wont. Hate to be the bearer of bad news but these things never work themselves out and as you grow more and more frustrated your interest will wane and you will sell it for a steep loss. With that said, I am rooting for you

Almost 3 years into this thing. Damn time flies, I definitely don't have the patience you have red.
