My W204 C63 Build Begins
I've been enjoying my W204 C63 in stock form for almost two years now. It has truly been one of the wildest, most satisfying cars I've owned. There are so many things I like about the W204 platform: the muscular (yet in some respects subtle) styling, the iconic 6.2L V8, the powerful brakes, the raucous engine/exhaust note(s), the excellent steering, and the phenomenally-bolstered Recaro bucket seats. Quite simply, it has character.
My C63 in stock form:
Over the past few years, I've slowly been collecting mods. Before modding, I like to get to know/appreciate a car in its stock form. After I've gotten used to the car's performance and styling, I like to "re-invent" it, so to speak.
In a few weeks, I'll be completing the first stage of my C63 build with the parts/components I've acquired thus far.
First stage will consist of: 1) Eurocharged V5 tune; 2) Mode Carbon carbon fiber OEM Front Replacement Lip, Luftstrom Diffuser, and Side Vents; 3) 507 Edition gear selector; 4) AMG door pins; 5) ROW air boxes; 6) OEM gloss black 507 Edition grille; 7) AFE Pro Dry filters.
Have all these things stacked in the corner (still waiting on the filters), just waiting for winter to end.
I just recently received the final item I wanted before beginning the build: the Mode Carbon Luftstrom Diffuser.
For those of you considering this diffuser, my advice is go for it! It's so much more impressive looking than the OEM diffuser. The carbon fiber weave is absolutely immaculate and the high quality finish makes this piece feel like it is an OEM component. The "fins" are much more aggressive than the stock ones. Furthermore, Mode Carbon's customer service is beyond outstanding. Their products are shipped promptly and packaged meticulously. Nick and Sam are the epitome of professional; they provide the kind of customer service you'd expect when dealing with a Mercedes-Benz product.
Here are a few pics of the "Stage 1" parts/components -

ROW air boxes (courtesy of Weistec):
AMG Door Pins:
Mode Carbon OEM Front Replacement Lip:
Mode Carbon Side Vents:
OEM 507 Edition Gear Selector:
The AFE Pro Dry filters are on the way.
After that stuff gets installed, second stage will consist of: 8) Bolt-ons (still shopping around); 9) 19" wheels + new tires; 10) Wavetrac LSD; 11) Weistec oil/air separator; 12) Mode Carbon carbon fiber trunk spoiler.
I will update this thread periodically. I have not finalized my wheel choice yet so I'm open to suggestions there.

That is awesome, congrats on the new mods. As for wheels, I noticed on Instagram a company named "zitto wheels" has been appearing quite often, I believe they have 19s and 20s for our C63. ZS05 is the code, soo nice. They quoted around $2300, seem to be pretty concave. I don't have those but I think I'd get those if I really decide to go for rims (the 507 rims are too sexy to change at the moment haha). Enjoy your mods and keep the pictures coming.

Let us know if the ROW boxes throw any CELs.
Also, you could probably just wrap your OEM grille to look like the 507 grille for much less $$, right?

And yes that's a good point but I really wanted the "gloss black" look. I like the idea of having a spare OEM grille around, too. Plus I got a smoking deal on the grille.
I've been trying to find the part number for the LED light strip "surrounds." Want to black those out too. May consider doing a thorough painting of the reflectors too (so no light shines through).
Haha thanks man! Yeah I'll be the first to admit that my modding style is a little unorthodox.

What kind of bolt ons are you looking for?
What kind of wheels you need? Performance or aesthetic?

Nice! cant wait to see it come together on the car. Seeing the AMG door pins reminds me that i need to buy and change mine too. The OEMs are so shabby. if possible, can you please point me to the place you bought them from?
I didnt know Mode carbon sells side vents!

Looking good nice selection should come out very clean just a suggestion noticed that an LSD is 10th on your list - should move that up a few notches. I had the factory LSD in a '13 C63 and it was such an improvement over a '12 C63 with open diff, not to mention the Wavetrac is that much better (have them in several street/drag cars). And headers, it's an injustice to own a masterpiece that is the M156 and not let it breathe (and let the glorious noise out lol). It's the one thing I miss the most, from startup till my oil warms up all I think about is how nice the the M156 sounded with headers. Then the turbos spool and well

Any and all bolt-ons. I want to keep the factory exhaust tips and factory sound. That said, I'm not against enhancing that sound/making it louder.
With respect to the wheels, I want something sturdy, light, and good-looking (preferably something that shows off the brake hardware). I almost pulled the trigger on some OZ wheels (multispokes) but ideally, I'd like to be able to use MB center caps.
Any suggestions?
Sometimes you can catch them on sale.

And the Mode Carbon side vents are great. The weave is excellent, they're easy to install (they come with the necessary 3M tape attached), and they're not too bulky.

And the LSD is definitely a priority. I want to be able to make use of the power provided by the V5 tune. The Wavetrac unit was supposed to be a part of the first stage but I had a purchase fall through (never heard from the seller again).
Thanks Autosport7! Truly appreciate the feedback and kind words man.
I just want to say thanks again to everyone for your comments and feedback. Keep 'em coming. I couldn't have reached this stage without relying on the wealth of info. provided by all of the great posts/threads authored by the veteran members here. This community is a great resource and there are so many here that have pushed the envelope with the W204 platform.

As for wheels, save up & get a nice forged set from a reputable company like HRE, BBS, OZ , Volks.. Don't do like me , 6 sets before I was happy lol

Thanks for the input. As I mentioned before, I'd like to showcase the brake hardware (fewer spokes would do this) but seeing these OZ wheels mounted on other C63s piqued my interest in them.
The 507 wheels are beautiful indeed. Unfortunately, they're almost impossible to find. Price is a little steep too.
Yep! If you'd like to know them, just shoot me a PM.

For some of my input, i see that you asked about the CEL and the weistec ROW boxes...
I have had them on my car for about 2 months and have had ZERO CEL lights come on.
So there ya go, they are simple bolt n play mod
