Believe me, I wish it were not true. But I bought a barely used 2014 507 with a sticker of $91,000 for much, much less than the sticker on your car. And another guy on this forum stole a CPO 507 with low mileage for under $60K just recently. Sad but true. These cars are not investments but instead fun expenses.

^Yeah, and that's going to be private sale. Knock a few grand off that for trade value.

father just bought white 14' sedan for 47k with 14k on the clock.

so figure your car is worth about 50-55, since we bought ours at an auction. has clean title, carfax etc., however.

C63 Edition 507
Sedan

The 507 Sedan model is the one that will hold its value over time- if not become a collectors item. If you're not aware- AMG could only produce a very limited number of sedan models with the P61 P.P.

Too many 507 produced. It will depreciate as any other base C63. The only C63 that will eventually become a collector and hold better its value is the Black Series track & aero package mainly. C63 BS with no options will depreciate faster.

C63 Edition 507
Very inaccurate- the 507 Sedan was limited to production- the rumor is 800 odd number of sedans were released by early November of 2013 to the North American market. Production came to a complete halt and some pre-orders had to be provide a coupe version in lieu of (for a small discount). If that is all true- the sedan will more than likely be a collectors item because of the limited production (Bremen factory ran out engine parts for the sedan models). Car collectors are an interesting breed and who want the last something or the first of something. The last of the M156 originally tuned by Mercedes is something a lot of true car collectors will purse 20 year or so from now. Maybe even sooner, since the downgraded displacements will not produce as much power N/A.

So, you call him inaccurate and back your theory up with rumors?

Right, well, you hang onto the c63 in the hopes it becomes a collectors item. The rest of us will sit back and watch these things plummet in value once people start to realize just how much better the new one is and those begin to hit the used market. A super clean low mile white w204 sedan will be hitting the market once the 205's hit numbers I can swing.

500 miles in middle of Southern California- used 507 coupe, note that it is a coupe and not a Sedan is only selling a few thousand under the brand new sticker price (roughly 87k)...not bad for a 2 year old car that has over 2,000 models running around in the US....imagne if that number was only 800-900. Oh yeah, there is another coupe 507 for sale, but it selling more than the one at Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach (go figure lol)

A nice comparison to look at is auto trader for US market- as you can see, the 507 holds it value a lot better than the other c63 listed in a 500 miles radius of a very populated region of Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego counties). There are only 2 coupes for sale, no sedan models available at the moment. Both used coupes only lost a few thousand at most from there brand new sticker price and only 2k apart in price with almost exact milage. Not bad for a car that is almost over 2 years old now.

Example or proof is within in the link below:

ON this very forum(s) a BS C63 with track just sold for a LOT lower than expected; Lots of lookie loos, BUT it took a SE FLA dealer to buy it and jack up the price. Its still available now.

Bring that same car to Midwest or East Coast and the value (demand) will be a LOT less than So Cal.

How much and anything wrong with it? Please send me a link- other BS out here sold for more than original sticker (so claimed the owner- offered him a few k less than sticker) and had an issue with something (can't recall what) that needed to be fixed.

Yes the bs is the only one that really has been holding its value in comparison to others, and it's the only one I'd even consider saying might be collectible

C63 Edition 507
May need to think twice:

http://www.complex.com/sports/2013/0...mg-edition-507

Try googling Edition 507 and tell me how many different languages can you click up until you the point comes across...the car is extremely popular and there are so few of them made (especially in the saloon/sedan model). Car collecting is fun

Also, the Edition 507 is the C63 that posses basically what is the AMG SLS/SLS GT engine. The forged pistons, connecting rods, and super light weight crank-shaft that powers the M159 is in the Edition 507's version of the M156. A modified engine by AMG using parts from the beast that put AMG on the map in terms of super cars/super engines. The Black Series would be the only other C63 that may share the same parts in the engine....I'll ask in AMG Private Lounge to see if the BS every did share the same engine parts as the SLS or 507.

I mean this board even has people thinking a normal c63 could be a potential collectors car- let alone a 507 (sedan) or BS
