Leaked Supercharger Pics Inside
It doensn't matter what anyone thinks about bolting it, you kept bringing it up like is was a fault on the company and it is not. Even weistic does not just do it, it is a recommended purchase base on facts that slipping occurs when pushing the car in straight line pulls through all gears with out lifting.
If you want to consistently make 560 at the wheels with this car, you will need to eventually give weistec a call is Merc63's point.
You going to pump all that engine oil into your nice new blower too? Oh gotta call Weistec for that too.
Jason you buying or just chirping?
Me personally, I like to support the guys who are making the transmissions, head studs, water tanks, oil air separators, etc etc. Instead of the new guy on the block that's going to toss a blower into the market with nothing else. Their product looks good and so does the price but that's not all there is to the story.
And if you think slipping occurs when "going in a straight line through all the gears" that's funny. Since when are we supposed to let off the gas to make a shift lol.
Even those running dct trans mission with other cars like 335i and m3s have received instruction on driving style until tranny upgrades have been made.
SMG cars, if the clutch had not been upgraded are told not to flat shift until you get the upgrade.and yes it quite possible to drive with out doing so and still race.
Regardless of that when you first made this comment it was not about informing anyone about building the tranny you were tryna make apoint about them not using weistic for the supercharge where they would be recommend to built the tranny.
You like wiestic thats great nothing bad about it. but if you are not interested in the kit, which is clear stop taking shots at it that have nothing to do with it.
Guy posted infor about a supercharger coming out. post that is like saying who is going to build the tranny on their supra when they upgrade turbos? that doesn't make any damn sense. This thread is about the supercharge and that only.
If you were tryna inform, the general statement would have been make sure you Get the tranny upgraded at those numbers the tranny is likle to slip on the older trans. (though LCI or second gen c63s wont which just happens to be the car used from this company) .
BTW you don't need to call wiestec for a oil seprator lol... you can't be a DIY guy if you think that. You also don't need to call wiestic for headers either. like really guy this is about one product and you are detracting about another because this product isn't being made by a ONE STOP SHOP.

Buying this kit and then having wiestec or renntech, or level 10 transmssion upgrade your clutch packs and do valve body upgrade you still save over 4k over just getting everything from wiestec. So in short it actually is a smart idea to look at this kit verses the wiestec stage 2.
thought process like staying with on shop they have been doing they are the best bottle neck progress and platform development plane and simple. competition causes benefits for customers.
when the first intake system was available for the f10 m5 it was being sold at 3k( which is ****ing retarded) JB4 a cheaper company, and for others started producing their own, cost for this system for a m5 is now less than 1200 dollars.

Miami, FL... explains why you're such an idiot.

You have no idea

You sound emotional about this. Do you have Weistec stock?
Relax guy, I have their Oil/Air separator, it's all good...
Titan, mvp, boost logic, induction performance, ams, alpha motor sports have continued to build off one another. Each setting record after record. What's the current fastest 1/4 c63 time ? Platform development from multiple minds not one, weistec is great in what they do but they are not the end all be all and as the price of this platform drops more and more will step up to the plate to continue make advances from it.
Maybe now the price for Weistec will drop a little, they are extremely overpriced and they had the ability to be until now.

Weistec has been doing this since 2007 they have the market covered ( another c63 just broke the SC record today) 9.7
i agree its exciting to see a new comer but the last of the AMG N/A engines is done now i think its pointless they have come to the party now
All the best to magnuson

during this time you will have younger owners. and owners looking for something to play with, coming in to the market with the prices dropping, they will be more willing to mod without fear of warranty failure etc. From a aftermarket aspec this is a great time . even active autworks just started making prima kits for E46m3s and they sold off the shelves like hot cakes and that car is 2 generations old.
while magnuson has been in the game alot longer there new to the mercedes platform and to my knownledge havent really done much testing me myself yes im a weistec fan boy but in saying that they know what they are doing there leaders
these guys are new comers and have no idea they cant even release qtr mile times

There were no times released on the new chevy SS blower and those cars on pump are making what CTSVs with upper and lower pulley and headers on e85 are making. Hellion just came up with a turbo kit for the new 5.0 mustang that put down a scary 900WHP, yes at the wheels on a stock block. No one has asked about 1/4mile times but customers have sense broke 9s with it. got to give it time sir. It really not that common to have 1/4 miles associated with hp numbers on products, the new age has moved on to roll racing and many just want to know power out up. Not saying thats good but just reality of the market in the US. Those gtrs from AMS have never posted 1/4mile with their packages only power out puts because there are just to many variables to say your car will run this or that.
