if you have an 09' your warranty is up 4yr/50k, if you have an extended factory warranty/cpo then thats probably almost out too, so i wouldnt worry about it. With that being said anything from the catback wont affect emissions or warranty for anything but the parts you changed out.

even if your warranty was still intact, catback has never void warranty (they don't produce any/much power either) afaik. I'm not sure about MB, but quite a bit of manufacturers allow aftermarket catbacks.

with that said, if youre interested in interchangeable parts, you're looking for bolt ons. I believe MBH makes bolt on headers and akrapovic slip on exhaust might be what you are looking for. IMHO the akrapovic exhaust sounds terrible, it really tones down the volume.

Mike's Power Pipe. While technically it is interchangeable with a few bolts, it could be difficult to do. That said, I highly doubt a dealer would balk at someone taking off secondary cats. There is not even an O2 sensor after them anyways.

Wat? Lol...No O2 sensor on the 2nd cats? Yes there is.. I'd love to see someone run their car with a 2nd cat delete and no re-tune...100% it will stall/throw CEL within 500KM and drive like total crap ...the cats do have sensors that need to be shut off by any of the tuners.

take out secondary cat, put straight pipes. car will sound 100 percent stock when cruising. cold starts are glorious, and when you step on it, it will have a very nice bark that will scare children.

best exhaust mod imo and cheapest, for sure. dealer won't even notice the mod.. trust me.

I have Mike's straight pipe cat delete.

One cut on the driver side exhaust just in FRONT of the secondary cat - rest is using stock clamps

There was NO O2 sensor anywhere on the second cat or farther back

NO CEL
I do NOT have an ECU tune.
Been running the car hard for a few weeks. And a track event (HPDE)

Car sounds amazing , no real power gain but better flow and less heat
But I repeat No CEL

Yeah, he (or she) rarely provides accurate or useful information / posts. That post is a pretty standard one from that user.

Dude, you're just wrong. Seriously, you should just lurk here.

The secondary O2's are meant to test post PRIMARY cats dude. There's a set before the PRIMARY cats, and one set immediately after. The only reason to turn off the secondary O2's is if you get rid of the PRIMARY cats, because they are there to sense them (indirectly). The secondary cats are useless. Anyone can remove them and their car will run just fine.
