3M Carbon Fiber Vinyl Trim Wrap
I just thought I'd share my recent small project on the AMG. As many have done I got some CF vinyl wrap to cover my wood grain trim. I used the 3M Scotchprint vinyl 60"x12". That amount was perfect and gave me a little excess allowing room for error. I also purchased a lil chizler hand tool for vinyl wraps & decals.
Total cost was $27.28 and it's really changed the look of the inside.
Only tools I needed were the chizler, scissors, and an xacto knife.
Took me a solid hour to make sure I did a nice clean job. So far I love it!
Before
Halfway on one door.
Climate control trim wrapped.
Center shifter trim all wrapped.

Mine is a 2011 and has them down on the side of the seat. I like it too, gives a little cleaner look. Could be worth noting that my seats are only semi-powered. So the back rest is power but the front back/up down is manual. Could look at the bright side there and I get a little weight savings not having the additional motors for the seats.

Nice work!
Vinyl is not hard to work with. Just plan it out, trim, and apply. Every time I see people paying HUGE $ for vinyl work i shake my head. Lots of people out there ripping people off for wrapping parts on vinyl.

Original owner specd it very weird. They got illuminated door sills and then got the MB Tex with cloth center seats. It's a different look and for my 1st AMG it was a great deal as CPO.
