I take it this means your aftermarket insurance company in not going to pay for it or did they agree and you are trying to source one?
What happened to the engine, is it not rebuildable?

was wondering what exactly happened to the motor?? I'm from Montreal and have a tech for you if you want to consider rebuilding.
I cannot discuss the hows and wheres and whats etc... because I am currently fighting with my extended warranty with GROUPE PPP (TOTAL A** HOLES BTW DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM EVER IF YOU LIVE IN CANADA)
We will know at engine teardown what happened but basically the engine went. My personal guess is a failure with the oil pump for some reason. IT was not hydrolock or head bold issue either. The result is a hole on the side of the block from where the connecting rod went through and ended on the floor and from that same hole we can see the piston has hit the head and so basically all hell broke loose inside the engine.
My car has always been super clean and well maintained so no need to start going that road...
So engine died at 96k km in my 2013 C63 P30 AMG.... RIP

The reason is that engine selling for 4000$ (if its too good to be true....) is a blown engine bolted back together by the owner. He has a 2013 P31 parked up front with VIN WDDGJ7HB3DF991875 and the Serial number of the engine he is selling is 156 985 60 078 365 which is in fact the original engine for his car. I was hydrolocked so he found another smashed C63 and gutted it to replace his. The broken valve cover, removed intake, broken oil pan and oil spacer casting, broken oil pump, broken water pump, dented left header and hand made silicone gasket are all red flags. Plus 2 bent piston-rod assemblies on the floor next to the engine are also a dead giveaway. STAY CLEAR OF THIS ENGINE. Just hope I saved someone from wasting their money.
SO if anyone has either links (I've seen pretty much everyone on eBay by now and google but then again maybe not) or knows people or local recycling yards that might have a good engine please let me know. THANKS EVERYONE!
