Picking 2013 C63 P31 up Wednesday. A few questions

I'm moving from a ~500 whp 2011 335i to a 2013 C63 P31 Sedan with LSD. I have it scheduled to go to Eurocharged next Saturday in Austin TX for a tune and row airboxes. I also have a straight power pipe from Mike on the way. I'm going quickly I know, I don't even have the car yet. I'll hold off on secondary cat delete until I get a feel for the car but anyways....

I have a few questions as I'm new to this platform and feel free to answer any of the following:

1. What is the best brand carbon fiber rear diffuser fitment wise? I've seen a bunch of different reputable brands but just want to hear feedback.

2. Is the V7 Eurocharged tune the current tune right now or is it still beta? Just trying to figure out what I'll be getting next weekend.

3. What are other necessary mods, cosmetic or engine wise, that are common on this platform that I will most likely encounter down the line? I will want a front lip and maybe some lowering springs but aside from everything else that's already lined up, I'll leave it as is. Thanks for the help!

Performance ; Tune, row airboxes, filters, headers and maybe pulley either underdrive or just lightweight. Now before someone says pulleys are pointless 10 times out of 10 it's someone who DOESN'T have one on. I have one on a clk550 and it revs faster than stock one did and the speedometer climbs faster as a result. Just my experiance

Aesthetics ; cf diffusers, cf splitter or lip, cf mirrors (get housing because covers look good at first then look cheap) side markers, and last but not least match interior (shifter and ashtray). I did rear ac vent too.

One thing that isn't mentioned enough is fuel economy. I average 8-10 mpg. If I try and I mean really try I can get up to 22 mpg, but that completely goes against the purpose of buying THIS car. If I wanted fuel economy, I would of got a c250. Practically looks the same. "Yeah from a distance" -Edge

I also came from a full bolt on 335i (actually still have it) love the c63 though find myself driving it more.

A couple more things to add to the list for you, the guys above have covered most of it and sounds like you have the basics covered already.

Spacers, cars needs 10mm in the rear 12 in the front to get the look right.

If you have command nav system, it is very annoying that your passenger can't enter a destination while the car is moving - these guys can fix it with some software they send that you put on a USB http://www.bimmerguru.com/mb

Black out or get the tinted sidemarkers.

Enjoy the hell out of it!

No. Don't do pulleys. First of all, underdrive don't exist off the shelf so you'd have to make one. And our electrical systems already have a hard time keeping up, and the other systems are taxed as well - what would you underdrive exactly? Second, the crank pulleys have basically all been taken off the market or avoided completely by the major manufacturers. There's a reason for that. Don't mess with the M156 balance, it's more complicated than a Honda.

Don't touch the pulleys OP. Experience on other cars is irrelevant here, and you're just going to potentially *** up your car for what, maybe 3hp? Stupid idea.

I won't be doing pullies. From what I've got here, I'll just be adding springs, some carbon bits, and headers down the line. What's the fattest tire I can fit under the rear on the stock amg 5 spoke 18 inch wheels.

Here is the car I'll be getting.

This is the reason I said maybe pulley. There is a underdrive pulley available I think it's agency. The pulleys weren't pulled because of problems they were pulled because they weren't selling. They are in fact too expensive for what they actually do. And no it isn't a 3hp gain. On my clk it was a 14 whp gain and increased acceleration. No one told op to do it, it's just an option. Other people's experience do matter, that's the reason forums are useful.

Just one observation: Mike's Power Pipe is a secondary cat delete. Other than that it sounds like you're following the tried and true recipe. Short of headers, there's not much else to make easy power.

Will my car come with a carbon fiber front lip instead of just black since it's p31? I saw somewhere that it did but not sure and can't tell from pics

In all honesty the car didn't seem all that loud to me. When I saw all the videos prior to buying the car I thought it would be crazy loud and savage but it wasn't. After airbox and filter mod, the sound changed, backfired or blipped louder and more frequently. V6 tune slightly changed tone and made it louder. H-pipe was on my list till I found out it violates ca emissions. If I'm going to disregard smog it will be with mhp/arh headers.

I think it will be black on the front splitter and CF on the truck lip.

1. RWCarbon or ModeCarbon
2.V7 is current but I think the V5 is the best (personal opinion).
3.Vinyl wrap side markers or buy clear ones, vinyl wrap any chrome pieces (windows, trim, trunk piece).

UPD also have their own.

I've read mixed reviews about these so I'm not fully sold. I'd love to see someone here do a before and after dyno to really measure gains. Another member did one of these pulleys as one of his first mods and I don't think has had any issues.

Also the pulley wasn't very popular because evosport wanted $1500 for it. They claimed 15whp and 13tq.

Not real popular for obvious reasons. Obvious to everyone with half a brain.
