New owner of a 2013 C63
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm the new owner of a polar white 2013 c63 sedan. The car has about 32000 miles on it and was tastefully modified by the previous owner.
The car has an impressive build sheet including the P31 package and LSD (not sure if the LSD is typically included with P31 or not, I'm new to the platform, and Mercedes in general)
An option I wasn't sure about at first that has grown on me is the two-tone red and black interior, and the high-gloss carbon fiber trim.
I'm the previous owner of a BMW E92 equipped with an N54 which was an excellent car right up to the point where I found out my son was on the way.
Before that I've played with American v8s, Japanese 4 bangers, and just about everything else.
I look forward to contributing to the forum, and hopefully learning some things. I think the car is modified to the point where I intend to leave it. Time to drive it and enjoy it.

Congrats. You'll love this car. I came from an '07 Audi RS4 and was surprised how much better the overall ownership experience has been. It's the best car I've ever owned and, like you, I've owned a bunch of different performance cars from all over the globe.

Welcome Mezzy! Nice ride.
I'm a '13 owner, too. Basic coupe (LSD, lights but no performance upgrades). 36,000 mi. (11k when purchased).
Former 996 owner.

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys.
My E92 was a 335XI. I loved the car, and it was super forgiving when playing being AWD. The handling was impressive for a car that isn't necessarily marketed as a sports car. (mine did not have the sport package)
With nothing but a tune, it was pretty quick, and I could daily drive year round. In fact, I had just as much if not more fun with the car in the winter. The fuel economy was excellent, and it looked great.
Unfortunately, it was a coupe, and it was an auto...and not a good auto. Shortly after the extended warranty was up on the car I sold it.
The auto in the C63 is leaps and bounds better. Much quicker shifts and more responsive to throttle input. That said, I still wish it was a manual.
I love the car.
The previous owner installed Agency Power headers, midpipes, and their valvetronic exhaust.
It comes in handy when I leave for/return from work late at night or early in the morning. It also sounds awesome when you get somewhere you can open it up though.
The car has ROW airboxes, aFe Pro-Dry filters, and an EC tune as well. (V7)
Wheels are Vorsteiner VFF-103s wrapped in Michelin PS4S.
The only modifications I intend to make are aesthetic. I want to wrap trim in high gloss black vinyl, debadge the trunk lid other than the star, and paint the DRL bezels and grill high gloss black. I had the windows tinted on Thursday and they turned out great.
I've never owned a car that was this tail happy. It's a lot of fun, but I also have to keep myself in check. When I'm feeling froggy, I'll turn the ESP to sport, but that's as far as I feel comfortable.

Welcome to the club and I highly recommend a secondary cat delete (Mike's power pipe or other brand) it takes up the volume about 20% and makes the car sounds soooooo good!
EDIT: Ignore that last bit see you have a full exhaust!

You might be the first person on here that thinks the c63 has a great transmission, normally it is considered a bit poor, slow and unresponsive, especially hates to shift when you want it to, it is good at just ignoring paddle input when you ask it for something.

I have noticed that trying to use the paddles in this car is a lost cause.
When in sport, or sport plus, the computer seems relatively responsive. At a minimum, it's better than the trans that was in my bimmer.

I also have a 335i and the transmission is really good in it, I am running XHP software on it which is a huge improvement - it is a good transmission that was tuned a bit lazy by BMW, but aftermarket software really helped it!

I actually think it is decent, just sometimes when you want to change gears it won't let you, like 2 downshifts in a row it requires a lot of time between them it seems.

The transmission never seemed to shift quite right after the tunes, and was sluggish/hesitant beforehand.
I prefer manual transmissions in general. More for the visceral experience than anything else I guess.
