Congrats. Please keep us posted on how it goes, communication with ESS, etc. Personally, I've been pretty interested in the ESS system.

I think they are actually the same s/c unit. I have spent a lot of time communicating with ESS asking what I am sure were dumb questions They always got back to me within a day or so. They mainly do BMW's, but the GM has a C63 and thats what the system was developed on. Weistec is definitely the way to go if you have lots of $$ and want to go as fast as possible / lots of mods and for custom tuning. I was looking for something reasonable that I could keep my car mostly stock (no headers, etc) and still get good power. I have the MCT tranny , but the ESS tune adjusts throttles somewhat in the mid section so you get close to stage 2 Weistec power but it is supposed to be safe for the pre-facelift 7G trannys from what I understand. (they also said without that they kept spinning the tires below 80mph lol) .. Not sure how this will affect 0-60 times or the dyno....

[QUOTE=Jasonoff;7360171]LOL @ screencap.
Apparently, I am computer challenged, I had a link to the dyno pull but couldn't get it to work, and I havent picked up the actual dyno documents to scan yet

Both this and the Weistec Stage 3 kit both use the same core. What's the difference in the housing, intercooler, and manifold?

I just installed one on my car. Let me know if you have any questions along the way. I have an account with them too if anyone wanted to order one. The quality is top notch. I also have an account with weistec and have installed quite a few of their supercharger systems.
Weistec and ESS use the same 2.9L Whipple supercharger. The cooling system on the ESS looks to be better. Weistec has the intercooler sandwiched between the supercharger and engine whereas the ESS has a large intercooler on top.
