Great experience with 3A Motors on eBay.
Recently spent some time in Taipei over the New Years, and found tonns of automotive parts being produced there. Mostly CF bits to Exhausts like IPE and FI and even suspension/brake parts from the likes of BC racing, or Ceika (where the main factory is, and then rebranded). Not forgetting forged wheels from SignatureForged.
Anywho. I have spent considerable time with the usual US vendors to source cf bits on my last couple of rides, and decided to try going to the factory source direct/or at least the direct broker from Taiwan. This led me to come across this company on eBay called 3A Motors. They had really good reviews, and I even googled them to find out that the likes of Ferrari and McLaren owners were using their parts, with no complaints.
Before going crazy and ordering a bunch of parts from them, I decided to do my own QC and ordered a set of CF mirror caps. Some may disagree. But from my past experience, I had more trouble finding good mirror caps for my bmws, then any aftermarket front lip or diffuser. Retail on eBay for the caps was $225 + $20 shipping. I contacted them and got $200 shipped.
Placed my order on a friyay, and item was shipped out Sunday night. ETA was wed, but bad weather caused an extra day. And it arrived 4 days later. Either way, the mirror caps arrived in the most amazingly packed box ever. I have bought MANY MANY CF bits for all my cars in the past, and nothing even came close to the packaging from 3AMotors. (See pic below). I think if a company went through this much trouble to pack their products, the quality must be pretty good as well.
Fitment was perfect, and it looks like they used an existing ABS original MB part to overlay with CF, so the caps went in like butter, no forcing needed. The only trouble i had (not really trouble) was removing my turn signal lens from the old one, and reinstalling them in the CF Housings. But that took no more than 10 mins.
Just wanted to share this with everyone here, as an alternative to the CF parts for our cars.

I order the CF intake from them 2 weeks ago - it arrived fairly quickly but didn't include the silicone hoses shown in one of the pics.... so I emailed them to see if I could order a set....
not impressed so far but hopfully they'll respond to the positive.... perhaps it's communication..... but it's fairly simple I thought - you have what I want, please take my money.
The CF looks nice and the interior of the intakes are well molded.... it's more cosmetic then HP I'm sure ....

OP that’s probably worth~10hp. There’s been rough data from myself and others that it improves 1/4 mile times by just under 0.10/1mph.

Yeah agree, English isn’t their first language. But they still should’ve provided those 10-cent silicone couplers. That’s just annoying.

Thanks BLKROKT - agree that I'm optimistic for a few HP..... any suggestions from those that have the Carbonio or this setup on if there are any markings on the hoses ?
thanks all

Hey all, So I checked out the site and found a front lip cover. BLKROKT, is this what you have or is it a full on replacement for the center lip?

try emailing them direct? The person I have been conversing with seems to write better than your screenshot above.

so they'd rather I return the intake parts then somehow provide the silcone parts... or even a spec for them...
dead to me..... make it simple- take my money and give me stuff that I "think " will make me happy....
but don't sell me parts that are useless albeit for a single missing piece ????

Dude. While it’s annoying they didn’t provide you with the silicone couplers, it’s a little ridiculous to return the whole thing because they’re missing. They are regular old totally round silicone couplers (they stretch to form the triangular shape just fine). You can find about eighteen bazillion of them on eBay. Probably less than 5 bucks shipped. Take a deep breath. It’s all going to be ok. Just measure the diameter of the tubes, order a couple lengths, and move on with your life. They don’t even need clamps.

Not 3A Motors, but JLMotoring supplied hoses had issues as well. OP in that thread had to source others.

I had the centre CF lip spoiler from 3AMotors. The second one.
I also had the full lip spoiler but from RW Carbon. It came to a nasty end when I tried to get on a local car ferry here and the lip caught on the front edge of the boarding ramp. My mistake as I misjudged it.
